I want to change my kitchen but I don't know how to disassemble and dispose my old one. IKEA is charging a crazy amount (approx. 800€ ) for removing and taking it with them.

Any other options we can explore ?

P.S. my old kitchen is not worth reselling it's a super basic ikea kitchen which is over 30 yrs old now

2. Was sind aus eurer eigenen Erfahrung Dinge in der Küche die ihr empfehlt oder niemals wieder haben wollen würdet.

Kurz zu uns: - Budget max. 7000€ (ohne Geräte) - Küche ist ein rechteckiger Raum mit 9qm - 4 Personen Haushalt.

hey everyone, I have decided to study in Germany for my bachelors in Physics in 2025 winter semester. I will give International A Level exams this October 2024 (A high school exam leading to direct admission into German Universities) and basically from Mid November I would be free for almost a year (around 10/11 months as the University starts in October 2025) and I've considered TUM and LMU for their international reputation and recognition for future prospects too

So, I am having some doubts and I hope someone can help here

(1) Which one of the TUM or LMU is better in your opinion for BSc Physics? I've heard that all unis in Germany are pretty much the same but if u can say one which one would you pick

(2) How are the professors there in TUM and LMU? are they good in teaching their subjects and do they consider students as priority or not

(3) How tough are the exams at both the TUM and LMU. Also what are the reasons that so many people go out of German universities after 1st semester or 1st year eventually?

(4) How do you compare the rigour of the course offered by TUM and LMU to universities like ETH Zurich, Cambridge or Oxford (I am asking specifically for Physics, although if you study something like Maths or Engineering, you can as well tell that)

(5) If one is able to study through the toughness of the course at the German universities and get decent to good grades, what kind of opportunities open for the Masters and eventually PhD in the field of Physics (specifically - Theoretical Physics)

(6) My last doubt is very stupid, but can I actually complete the 6 semesters (3 years) of the degree in just 2 years (4 years) . Basically starting from 2025 to 2027 (2025-2027) instead of 2028 or longer as most cases take longer than expected. I ask this simply because I will actually have almost 1 full year before actually starting my bachelors, so If any of you can tell the material used by TUM or LMU for the first year, I could self learn by myself sitting at my home. It's lot better than doing nothing for 1 whole year. I've heard that your final grade is basically your performance in the exam and one can register for the exams as they please and self study and give the exam then??

Also I will be done with my TestDAF exam by September 2024 (already doing C1 at this point). So, I know these were a lot of questions, But I hope anyone of you can give some answers to these

Ich habe über die "Raum für München"-Webseite anonym gemeldet, dass mehrere Wohnungen in unserem Wohnhaus seit mehreren Jahre leer stehen und verfallen.

Nun habe ich mitbekommen, dass der Eigentümer (er wohnt ebenfalls in dem Haus) sehr wütend darüber ist und herausfinden will, wer ihn gemeldet hat. Ich habe keine Daten angegeben. Kann der Eigentümer über einen Anwalt oder so die IP Adresse herausfinden und so auf mich kommen?

Die momentane Wohnsituation ist nicht ideal, aber ich habe echt Angst, dass ich gar nichts mehr finde, wenn ich rausgeworfen werde. Der Vermieter ist auch ein sehr unangenehmer Mensch.

Hello, I’m moving in Munich next week for a 6 months internship and I was looking to booking an Anmeldung appointment but there is none available in any city offices until July. Is it possible to show up and wait in the queue to see if there is a free spot? Also if i don’t register within 2 weeks after moving in, is there a penalty, even though it’s not my fault?

Folgendes: Ich schreibe regelmäßig allen 4 Abgeordneten die bei mir im Wahlkreis sind (München-West). Einer direkt gewählt, 3 sind über die Landesliste eingezogen.

Innerhalb der aktuellen Legislaturperiode habe ich an jede/n dieser 4 eine - nahezu identische - aber leicht abgewandelte E-Mail geschickt. 6 davon insgesamt. An jeden. Inhaltlich zu aktuellen Themen, zum Beispiel erst letztens dem Rentenpaket.

Kurze Auswertung: Der von der CSU (Pilsinger) hat immer und sehr detailiert geantwortet.

Der von der FDP, noch nie persönlich aber einmal hat es ein Kollege von ihm Beatwortet, aus einem zuständigen Arbeitskreis.

Die von der Linken hat bis jetzt 3/6 Mal geantwortet.

Der von den Grünen hat mir noch nie persönlich geantwortet, einmal aber seine Mitarbeiterin.

Finde die Ausbeute etwas Mager, insbesondere von dem von den Grünen bin ich entäuscht. Ich wohne im Wahlkreis München-West, bei der letzten Wahl hatten der CSUler und der Grüne gerade mal 137 Stimmen unterschied, bei der Erstimme. Also im Grunde nichts. Man müsste meinen, dass der Grüne (Janecek) also alles daran setzt diese 137 Stimmen zu bekommen. Aber leider herrscht da Funkstille und wenig Bürgernähe. Muss sagen, dass ich deshalb auch dazu tendiere nächstes Mal nicht mit der Erststimme die Grünen zu wählen, sondern wen anders. Auch wenn ich den Grünen näher stehe als der CSU. Finde es echt enttäuschend, dass da im Grunde null Reaktion kommt. Wähle dann lieber den, der zumindest so tut als ob er sich für mich interessiert.

Wollte mal Fragen, ob das jemand von euch auch macht und wie es bei euch im Wahlkreis aussieht.

I will be travelling solo (internationally) for the first time soon and will be passing through Munich airport (MUC).

I’m concerned because I only have 1hr between landing and my connecting flight’s departure. I am flying with Lufthansa on both flights and will be in terminal 2.

Is 1hr enough time to make it to the next flight? If anyone can share their advice/experiences it would be greatly appreciated!

Solo traveler here. I have been to München once before (March 2024). I accidentally booked a trip from 23-26 Sept, not knowing it's peak Oktoberfest season (find out just now via Reddit). All hotels are charging 2-4X pricing.

I'm wondering if I can still make something of this trip by staying slightly outside the city, away from most action. What do you suggest? No, I can't change my travel days as it's a non-flex ticket.

Hats irgendwer geschafft das Telefonbuch im Briefkasten zu vermeiden? I am planning a kind of last-minute plan to leave from Munich to Bratislava on 08/05. I was just checking the the DB app at 16:17, there is one EC219 goes to Salzburg and 8 minutes of changing, then RJX167 to Bratislava.

Okay once I saw 8 minutes, I was already doubting that I would make it. Then I immediately search for the Regional train from Munich to Salzburg and that would give me 10 more minutes of changing time. However, I check directly on OBB website and only getting the ticket of RJX167 alone is actually more expensive then buying also the Munich-Salzburg parts...

So my question is: How feasible is this plan? Because I am really not sure of the DB side delayed, what would happen to the Austrian side of train, would I be able to hop on anything like DB? Am I missing any blindspots that would make me most likely miss the arrival? Any hints would be appreciated!!! Thanks in advanced!

I'm a Munich-native, recently moved back to Munich after living abroad for some years and I would like to get back to playing tennis! I played a lot during covid times and before that, but obviously now I need a lot of practice to get back into it. I'd say I'm still a beginner but once back into it, I'd quickly become advanced again.

I'm looking for a club where I can mostly play pick up games and get training if possible. I would like to play 1-2 times a week, in the summer even more than that.

Also, how does it work with membership fees? Is training with a coach to be paid extra or including in the membership fee?

Location wise, I live in the South of Munich, but could make it to any club in Munich, if it's a good one.

And of course it would be amazing to get to into a nice tennis community this way, get to know people and always have players/practice partners available. I'm 28, so would be cool if its a club with preferably younger members as well (20-35?). I watch quite a lot of tennis as well, so I'm really someone who's into the sport and miss it.

Alternatively, I'd also be up for playing at ZHS (or wherever) with anyone interested. But mainly looking for a club where I can play every week.
