Since a MUFC community doesn't exist in Munich and its surrounding, let's change that and build one.
Munich is a city in which the airplane Munich disaster happened, which not only took lives of many great people, but also marked a point from which our football club showed resilience and a will for existence. Putting aside United, this town has football tradition. For these reasons, I think that Munich deserves a decent MUFC community.
A WhatsApp group has been made where all the supporters of Manchester United are welcome. The goal of the group is to create a community which will be used to organise events (like watching MUFC games together, or going to the memorial to pay tribute to the ones who lost their lives in the Munich disaster), where supporters can meet each other. :D
Here is the join link for the WA group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/E2yJzkgsJV2HIXxosz7Zcq
Guten Abend!
I'm going to Munich on Monday for five days and will be going to the Snow Patrol concert on Tuesday at the Zenith. I have seen that it's not the best venue and the sound isn't great. I'm not overly bothered about being right at the front but also I don't want to be stuck at the back. The doors open at 18:30, the concert starts at 20:00. I'm wondering what time I should aim to get there?
Also, is there anywhere nearby that's good to grab a quick dinner beforehand?
Thanks!
Hi guys, I lost my wallet in Neuraum yesterday. I already opened up a ticket via their System. Are there any chances about getting it back?
Hello,
I have recently purchased a classic car, a 1991 BMW E30 and I would like to do a major first service to fix a couple of problems and make sure the car is in good shape. As several repairs are needed I would like to take it to a garage that I can trust. Could you recommend a garage where you have had good experiences?
It is not necessary that the garage is in the city, I can also go to a garage in the surrounding area or in a nearby village. If it is a garage with knowledge about classic cars, all the better. Maybe a member of the community also has the same car and can share something about his experience with taking the car to a garage in the Munich area.
Thank you very much for your help and time!
Heyy, does anyone knows good places or clubs, any recommendations? Raving, techno those kinds of things i would really appreciate it
Maybe there is a person here who has no plans for today and would like to spend time in a friendly atmosphere? We can eat something tasty, go to the cinema or go to Tegernsee 😅. It may seem like a strange and spontaneous request, but I am a foreigner and I don’t have many friends here, and today is not my best day and I think that a friendly company will do me good. I am a 29-year-old girl, we can speak German or English. No romantic overtones, please.
Edit:
Thank you to all the kind-hearted people who texted ❤️ Thanks to this post I met such a wonderful girl and we had such a great evening. I am just happy that I decided to meet a new friend. I hope this post helps someone who is having a bad day too and they will try to find new friends too or just know that they are not alone!
Is there a bar where one could watch handball world championship tomorrow?
Hello everybody
My back and neck area as well as my shoulders are feeling like rocks. I was thinking of treating myself to go to a chiropractor or to get a really good massage (my birthday was also this week so it fits)
Do you guys have some affordable recommendations? As a student I can only say that money is basically nonexistent 😅
Hello everyone
I am looking for a laundry shop which would be able to clean all kinds of footwear, and which would do that at a reasonable price.
The footwear which I want to bring to the dry cleaners has some smell coming from it, and after failing to get rid of it with home remedies, I decided to bring it to a professional.
I saw that there is a dry-cleaning service Hohenzollernstraße 60 called "Stark", but I visited their website where it says that cleaning of footwear starts at 50e which is too much in my opinion. For that kind of money, instead of having a few cleanings, someone could buy new shoes.
I appreciate your help. :)
Hello! We have quite a difficult diet: without saturated fats (butter, oil) and gluten free. Usually, we bake at home, but on my partners birthday we are gonna be in Munich and want to order a cremeschnitte. Did research on maps, but can’t find many cake shops in the english results. Can you help me, please? Or if you have a great spot where you eat it, I will give it a shot and ask.
Hello dear pps hope ur doing great I wanted to know if there are any great comic book shops you recommend?
Hello, I‘m a guy in my mid twenties who recently just got kicked out of university due to lack of credits.
I would love to start to work full time actually and do another degree part time online but since I‘m here on a student visa, I don‘t know of this is feasible. Does anyone know if it is possible to work in Germany without having a degree? I have actually years of experience freelancing as a photographer and worked in marketing.
Please note that I‘m not from the EU though.
Hey all, I really enjoy the vibes of clubs where people are on other stuff than alcohol. Actually I enjoy the hanging out part almost more than the dancing, because people tend to be really friendly and open minded. Are there any clubs that especially facilitate this by having some nice chillout areas e.g. with some couches and stuff?
I’ll travel to the city that day and I just found out that Deutschland wählt on the 23rd of February. I’ll be in the city for many hours in the afternoon and for a few hours in the evening. As a tourist I wouldnt like to be involved in such things. Thanks in advance!
Hi does anybody know, where I can get a present wrapped in Munich center? It’s not too big, but I didn’t have the time to buy wrapping paper and get it done myself. Should be open between 19:00-19:30
Thanks a lot
A weird request, but does anyone know a street with speed bumps in Munich? You know, these fuckers. The bigger and more annoying, the better -- the kind that leaves your neck sore.
I wanted to drive through one to record a video for some project of mine. But I can't for the life of me find one! Maybe some construction spots, but I wouldn't want to bother the workers.
18F, never had any singing lessons and am looking for a vocal coach (preferrably one that offers classes in groups) in munich. does anyone have any recommendations? thank you!
Hello,
The title is self explanatory but here's a bit of context.
My wife and I have accumulated a lot of things and we recently moved slightly outside of Munich so we're also taking this opportunity to sort things out. We started, nowhere near done yet ahah.
So we end up with quite a few things that we would like to sell, very diverse things as well. I have put a few things already sorted on Kleinanzeigen and well some things are gone but most are not and it's obviously time consuming.
Hence my question, how would you find someone to buy everything at once so it's out of our hands (obviously still at a fair price even though I know we would get less as if I was selling everything myself).
I have no idea where to start looking nor how to even call that kind of profession in English or German ahah. The one or two second hand shops that I've seen seem to be dealing mainly with clothes...
Thank you for your help and advices.
PS: the search can be extended to the south Bavaria, not only just Munich ^^
Hi :) i am (W21) looking for Spanish people to hang out with, so that I can speak Spanish again and stay up to date with the slang nowadays. I moved 7-8 years ago to Germany and since then, I haven’t been able to find Spanish people living near me to hang out with or get to know each other. I would love to meet new people as well (preferably 20s - 30 age range)
Just spotted outside my office…
Any couple's photographers in here? We will be in Munich in 2 weeks and I was thinking about trying to book a session.
Hallo zusammen,
Hello All, I need to dispose off a big wardrobe, its quite old and broken (not in a condition to give it to anyone). I do not have a drivers licence yet so cannot rent out a mini van to dispose it off. I have heard we can hire a service to do so but did not find any concrete information. Can someone help me what needs to be done here.
PS: i do not have many friends help me out. Other suggestions are welcome.
Thank you in advance.
I’m traveling from USA to Germany (first time traveling outside of the country like this).
I thought at first I’d like to travel from Munich to the Swiss alps but I’m realizing that isn’t very time friendly and just illogical? I’m researching online but am a little overwhelmed.
I’m a LOVER of the mountains. If I’m traveling from Munich, where are the most incredible breath taking jaw dropping mountain ranges? What are your recs? I’d also like to do a hike (intermediate hiker) but I don’t HAVE to. I HAVE to see unbelievable mountains 😂 I’d think it would be amazing to see The Eagles Nest but if I can go somewhere else for a more breathtaking experience, I’d do it. Thanks!!
Edit: traveling in early June! 🤦🏻♀️
Hi, I'm transferring flights in memmingen tomorrow but don't have much time between flights, do you know how are the queues there at this time of the year? Is it too busy and crowded? Thank you!
