Do they not have the rights to stream this in Australia? Kinda the number one reason I might re-sign up to Mubi here down under.
I don't think TV shows should be in the top 1000 list at all, but if they are, then it should be for the whole thing rather than individual episodes. For example, Episode 1 of The Kingdom 1 is currently at #937 in the top 1000, episode 4 at #786, the same week that a different episode just fell out of the list. 'Self Portrait As A Coffee Pot' has a couple of episodes listed as well. There may well be others from other series I've not noticed.
Put aside the fact that I hated The Kingdom, as a series, the individual episodes have no place in a list that describes itself as "The greatest films ever made, as voted by MUBI’s global community of film lovers." That's 5 slots given over to 2 episodic shows rather than 5 stand-alone feature/short films.
Am I alone in thinking this is wrong?
Hi all, hope someone could advise on the end date: I am in the UK and have noticed on the website, it was noted £1 for 3 month promotion “ends Feb 9”. I just want to check if this means the last day of the promotion will be on Feb 9, or that it will end the day before, as the last day of the promotion will be Feb 8? I found the wording a bit vague so just want to double check, thanks!
I’m new to mubi and I’ve just subscribed through the promotional £1 for 3 months offer and went to watch perfect days last night but there was a constant white flickering every few seconds throughout it. Something that’s never happened to my laptop when watching anything else before… anyone else have the same problem or know how to fix it?
Hi all, I just subscribed again to Mubi (Canada) and I would love to get some recommendations. I've previously enjoyed Parasite and The Substance. I like horrors, thrillers, psychological, art house type of movies. So far on my watch list I have The Fall, The Beasts, Revenge and Parasite again because it's that good!! Thank you in advance:)
i am worried pls help i want to know if its a free trial because it expires in may 2.
Hello,
I'm looking for a reliable VPN for mubi. Nord worked for a while, but not anymore for me. I'm on MacBook Air m3 and an old MacBook Pro retina from 2014. Neither work. I'm in Belgium. (Edit: a vpn with mubi unlocks other countries´ catalogs. The website whatsonmubi is a list of all mubi content accross countries) Proton?
Thanks!
Edit: added I'm in Belgium.
Is this movie available anywhere ? Been trying to watch it for a while and wondered if I would get any luck posting here. Let’s see! Appreciate any help!
Would anyone like to join a group to do occasional film outings and optional post-film chilled hangouts?
Maybe a WhatsApp group?
It doesn’t seem like there’s anything like this yet, but if there is feel free to point me to that group!
Thanks
Genre really doesn't matter and if i watched it before, i can watch it again so don't worry about it.
I'm aware of the current "1 eur for 3 months" for MUBI (and I did it in the past) but I wonder if there are any promos that also include MUBI GO or any film festival / event that includes a free MUBI GO trial?
Hello, I’ve got offered a similar deal to 1 usd for 3 months. It was PYG 10.000 (1.27 usd) for 3 months, so I bought the suscription, but I have a second charge for PYG 7.500 (0.99 usd). Did this happen to any of you? I’ve already contacted support, I know is not a lot but I still wanna know why I have a second charge. Thanks
I already have an annual subscription and just saw the new promotion where they're offering 3 months for $1. Could I do this promotion and have the three months added to my annual subscription?
If my weekly free trial ended and I cancelled, will I still be able to take this deal?
Is there no app for the PlayStation 4 yet? Is there a way to get it there ?
2 of us got mubi subscription and will share an account. Is it possible to have separate profiles like on Netflix? Or anything similar, doesn't necessarily have to be the same thing.
I find this streaming service really promising especially after The Substance came out and I was eager to watch a movie with some friends 3 nights ago. I chose a monthly subscription, was charged for it but an internal error message appeared and I am stuck since.
There is no active subscription in my account, support promised they'd get back to me within 72 hours but haven't and I still can't watch anything. Furthermore, the monthly price it shows me now is lower than what they charged me. I filed for chargeback but the bank said it might take up to 3 months to resolve.
Really disappointed with this experience. Has this happened to anyone else?
Edit: edited for clarity
I’ve signed up and created a student account. However, when I go to the subscription area to pay, it only gives me the regular pricing options. Anyone know how to fix this? Thank you
Hi. Wondering if I could have some help with the new Mini offer ‘£1 for 3 Months’. I have payed (twice because I thought my card was declined) and haven’t had my subscription. For some reason I still can’t watch anything. Can anyone help?
I'm more of a Kanopy-Hoopla user but I heard about the Mubi deal. Sounds too good to be true. There's some good stuff on Mubi that isnt on Hoopla and Kanopy yet. It sounds like a scam but from the brief searches I found of it online over past years, it is apparently real?
Want to hear about users' experience with this. If the goal is just to catch the attention of possible future users, it did its job.
Hi guys, like the title says, I want to watch some romantic movies with my girlfriend on mubi We kinda covered most of the good ones on Netflix, prime and Hotstar, but do share the ones that are close to you Drop your best ones!
I'm wondering if there is a way of finding movie lists under specific categories that are findable on Mubi website but are absent on the app, at least browsing it directly. For example: the short film list, or the one containing things that are soon being removed from the catalogue. I can't find them anywhere on the main menu of the app.
I’ve looked but can’t seem to find it
I had the trial for mubi and was going to sign up for the yearly £129 offer but the deal appears to have finished. Has anyone cancelled their membership (after paying for a month or so) and received a cancellation offer - as in “if you stay with us get so and so off each month”?
Can anybody name the movies now showing on the front page - https://mubi.com/en/us
One guy about to shoot an arrow.
One guy looks like Al Pacino
Another guy with some sort of Zorro mask
Others on the beach.
Movies look interesting, have no idea what they are.
Thanks.
