Hello everyone,

I'm Robert. I have been playing D&D 5e for about 6 years, and I've tried a few other systems in that time (Monster of the Week, Trashkin). I love higher fantasy settings but I'm not opposed to branching out. I've played Curse of Strahd, Wild Beyond the Witchlight, and a few homebrew campaigns. Roleplaying is my favorite aspect of the game, so I really enjoy party-bonding stuff, interacting with backstories, having fun character interaction during combat, and stuff like that.

I'm looking to join a group as a player, ideally a weekly or bi-weekly game. I'm based downtown on the green line, so happy to travel anywhere somewhat accessible by metro. Evenings and weekends are good for me to play. I'm bilingual but would prefer to play in English. I'm also queer, so a queer friendly group is a necessity.

I live in the pointe st Charles area of Montreal. I’m starting up an Alien RPG game that will meet every other Saturday from 1p-5p, starting this coming Saturday, Jan 18.

I have 2 solid members and a maybe, so looking for 2, maybe 3 more.

No experience with Alien needed. I love teaching the game. Some experience with RPGs would be helpful, even if it’s just 5e.

Anyone up for starting a beginner level D&D group or MTG pod?

My girlfriend (F34) and I (F35) are looking for a new D&D group to join or start. We’re both beginners who’ve played a bit, but our party’s on hiatus, and we’re itching to get back into some adventures.

We’re based in Hochelaga, about a 5 minute walk from the metro, and we’re happy to host (as long as no one’s allergic to cats). If hosting doesn’t work, we’re fine with traveling anywhere public transit-friendly/on island.

We’re bilingual—I’m an anglophone and my girlfriend is a francophone—but I’d personally prefer to play in English or at least Frenglish. We’re LGBTQ+ and would love to play with folks who are, or are allies/LGBTQ+ friendly. We’re also pretty COVID-conscious and try to be mindful of illness, so it’d be great if others in the group are too.

We both work 9-5, so Friday nights or weekends are ideal for us, but we can make some evenings after 5 PM work too. In a perfect world, we’d love to play every month or every three weeks if possible!

We can help make paper minis/print maps (we have a colour printer). We’re down for long sessions, and we’re fans of Dimension 20 (my girlfriend’s obsessed with Critical Role and I'll get into it eventually). We've usually got snacks, tea and coffee to share!

Some info about me, I'm 18 and still in CEGEP, I'm currently in social science but am transferring to the theatre program :P. I'm really into the fantasy genre but have been hooked on cyberpunk since watching Edgerunners. I've been the GM in every campaign I've been a part of except for one, but have never gotten a chance to finish one because of scheduling issues or falling out with friends 😭😭

• Sans morale mais toutefois a une aversion pour les humains qui sont sans cœur (Aristocratie, Violeur, Raciste, Homophobe, etc)

• N'hésite pas à voler (surtout les riches et autres criminels)
• N'hésite pas à tuer qui que ce soit SI N'ÉCCESSAIRE

Peu importe leur genre, race, âge.

(N'est pas exempte du contraire dépendant de la situation et du lien potentiel avec la personne)

• Plutôt protecteur envers ses vrais êtres chers (Groupe d'amies et sa "soeur" et ...)

• Aime apprendre l'histoire et les autres cultures car ce sent nulle part chez lui réellement

• Végétarien (si possible)

• Aime la nature et les animeaux

I am situated in Anjou, and i can host. there would also be the possibility to play in St-Laurent, determined by what would work best for everyone.

I am an experienced DM. our current group will lose a player in about a year, she will be moving away. We play in English, but most of us also speak French.

moreover i would like to start a weekday group, playing every other week. which day is yet to be determined. right now it looks like we'd have 2 or maybe even 3 DMs rotating, possibly. Playstyle will be determined by the group.

ill be trying to host my first DnD 5e campaign as DM and unfortunately 2 of my friends had to opt out since it wasnt fitting in their schedule.

ill be starting out with a pre-written one shot and hope to gradually move onto a proper long-term adventure.

so im looking for 1-2 players that are willing to join! ill be hosting in my home in Laval so keep that in mind. we’re all 20-21 year olds (mostly poc!) in college and lgbtq-friendly is always a plus. so far, it seems like we’ll be aiming for every thursday or sunday, 7-10pm. J'ai présentement un joueur potentiel (coproprio) et on a un espace pour jouer dans l'Est (Tétreaultville).

Il s'agit d'un jeu d'horreur avec des thèmes difficiles, donc 18+.

Écrivez-moi et on regarde si ça peut marcher.

Haven't gamed in so long, especially not offline and I just... Wanna play dnd.

I'm old, I have a kid, so my first obstacle is often just the idea of having to travel, traffic and all that before and after. (Hey man, we got a group going in terrebonne, you're welcome to join once a week after work! Nevermind it'll be 2 hours to get there)

I am a veteran from 2nd edition (have even flirted with the idea of going back to it), played 3rd, 3.5, pathfinder, 5e. I have tried 4th but that was once so I don't think it counts. Also have experience in other systems like Whitewolf, mage, werewolf, vampire, etc....

I can but am not a minmaxer, try to take the games seriously, roleplay properly, am not trying to win at dnd, am not blasé, understand that each player gets the spotlight in turn and it's the player's responsibility to help the DM make a good story and make their party members shine. I am a tiny bit of a rule lawyer or used to be at least, but more because I used to have a good memory for rules so I'd often be the reference, especially since I was a forever DM.

I would love to meet other like minded peoplea for a good time and regular gaming, ideally weekday evenings.
