Thanks!!
I’m about 1/3 of the way through my first ever big crochet project. It’s taken so long and I’m so proud of my progress but I can’t get over how much I regret the colors I chose for it. I’m really considering starting over with new colors 😭
So, I am doing my 1st Mosaic project. I finished the body of it, tied and trimmed my ends, and attempted my envelope border and FAILED. I am now starting the body of it over. If I do not want to do a border, and I just want to weave in my ends....would I just take the border stitch out of my stitch count, and just start the body's pattern?
Hi all! I am planning on making a tapestry for my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day. I am really hoping to make a snoopy one for her. However, I cannot find any mosaic crochet snoopy patterns. Does anyone know where I could find one? Or how to turn a tapestry pattern into a mosaic pattern? thank you!!!
Mosaic in Marrakesh
Hello dear mosaiccrocheters,
I have built a function into my program with which you can convert an image into a pattern.
https://tnxec2.github.io/mosaic-crochet-pattern-creator/
It is a simple algorithm, so it can require a lot of manual correction for complicated images.
You can find import function in program menu. Here you load an image for import. Then you can play around with some settings to achieve a suitable result.
After accepting the result, you can adjust the color palette and edit the pattern in the main program window.
I have attached a few example images:
where do you guys get patterns, would love some free options
i’m starting my first project and i want to do a grided pattern but i can’t find any with “x” markings to determine where to put a double crochet. would love to know how you would know when to do a single or double crochet in a blank grided pattern
Hi all! I'm about to start my first overlay mosaic crochet blanket and I was wondering at the end do you block it like you would a non-mosiac project?
Hi everybody I hope your weekend is going well. I have a friend who I've been friends with for 37 of my 39 years on planet Earth. That being said she just lost her dad. I have a visual of a mosaic I want to make it's not going to be my design because I'm going to use part of a design that I bought from sixlet an adding some things. I would really love to add a set of wings to this blanket and the fact that it's going to be a blanket I really believe I can do this I just have no idea how to start lol. Please give me any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Good day everyone hoping to get some assistance.
I am very new to mosaic crochet and working on my first big project. For my project I have been using anchored stitches and noticed that the contrasting colour is peaking through on each row.
I did some normal stitches without anchoring and the contrasting colour is less obvious. Has anyone else had the same observation?
Thanks in advance for the feedback and for motivating me through sharing your projects.
so currently working on a blanket for my friends birthday, it’s the bookshelf blanket but i’m adding some bits in to make it personal she loves tangled and wanted to do a little sun lantern but my brain cannot work out how 😭😂 is there any patterns for a sun similar? i can’t seem to find anything
I have a pattern and ideas stewing for more that I'd love to share but every software I've tried either it's far too big, doesn't do the X's or has watermarks when made into a PDF. This hurdle is the only thing stopping me so if someone could let me know, that'd be awesome. I'm starting to suspect that free options are not the way.

This is addictive y'all
I love books and I love yarn, here we go - the love for those two in one - my first ever attempt on mosaic try - im hooked and loving it, half way through, but planning others already 🥰
I just launched my first patterns! 🎉 These are Halloween themed mug rugs, and are made using the overlay mosaic crochet technique, which I absolutely love!
I’ve poured a lot of heart into these designs, and I’m really proud of how they turned out.
Patterns are in US, UK and Dutch terms.
Any feedback or support would mean the world to me 🧡
