A Puch Maxi, A Motobecane, A 1955 Raleigh and A Honda Express

In 2018 a friend of mine asked if I could bring his 1979 Motobecane moped back to life after decades buried in the garage. Neighbors saw me working on it and then riding around town and next thing I knew they'd show up pushing something on two wheels into my garage to fix. The Motobecane, A Puch Maxi, A Honda Express where some of the classics that I rehabbed but the most notable was a circa 1955 Raleigh moped that a neighbor had purchase new for his daughter back in the day! Put my wrench and got them all back on the road! Check the vids and pics: https://imgur.com/fVr1SBK

1986 Suzuki Fa50 parts help

So I'm completely new to the world of mopeds and learning how to restore the moped listed above. I need to replace the rear tail light assembly. However, these seem difficult to find. Is the part interchangeable with other years? Or other models? Any help would be appreciated.

How much current is typically pulled from a pb battery for lights at idle

I was just generally curious how much is pulled from the battery at idle. On my bike the system produces 4.5 volts at idle and around 8 at 9k rpm. I assume this means that the battery would need to charge at full rev and then help supply the diffrence at idle meaning it would need to supply power. I estimate prolly around 20-40 watts but I am curious if anyone actually knows. The function of this question is I have a 6v 4.5ah battery kicking around and none in my Vespa bravo. It calls for a 7.5ah pack so I was curious if it would work for testing. Currently the turn signals don’t work at all but the tail and headlights do. Would a bat fix this? I am unsure as on my hobbit the turn signals ran without a battery, just dimmer. Sorry for the yap I am curious. My motor still won’t run and imma do a rebuilt but I figured I would ask in the meantime.

New issue with PA 50 I

When accelerating, sometimes I feel like I stop speeding up, basically what a golf cart feels like when you hit the governor, I can hear what sounds like gears. Is it my CVT? How do I fix?

MLM vm20 intake (flange type) for QT50.

I spoke with treatland and they say that the mlm vm20 intake pipe for flange mount on qt50 is only made for them. I purchased a vm20 and then saw that vm20 intake was out of stock. It has been out of stock for a while and I'm just trying to see if anyone k ows where else it might be found.

I know the vm20 is less common than vm18 and less likely on a qt50. Just throwing it out there.

moped/brand with most aftermarket support?

Eventually I want to get a ped. What manufacturer has the most aftermarket part support? Big bore kits, exhaust, ect ect. Also, just parts in general. I am assuming Puch, but I really have no idea. The 2 mopeds I have ridden were both Puch's. I can't leave anything stock for long. Around here I have seen them from $100-800 about. Most in great shape.

RESTORATION

1975 Honda Chaly CF70 Hasn't ran since 87', what would I need to do to get it running for use? Been weather tight garage stored, still turns over.

I'm new to restoring and want to use it for college journeys (autocare tech), I know it'll need new oil, fuel and definitely a spark plug.

Any other things I should know and would be good to know?

Any help is amazing, this was left to me by my Grandad :)

1977 Batavus Va-50

It’s so beat up, the forks are bent and it leaks gas out the carb, but it runs and gets me to work going close to 25mph all day.. I had an HS50 before and always had problems with the carb.. these encarwi carbs kinda suck… but hey it runs.. I endorse this moped for someone who doesn’t give a shit and just wants to go to work.

New documents for Tomos Moped/Information about Tomos Sport R

Does anybody know where I can get new documents for a Tomos moped? Best case in Europe. Also is the "Sport R" just a version of the Flexer? I can't seem to find any good information.
