If you're posting plans for a first rack for critique/suggestions, consider starting small! It is recommended not to exceed 7U, 168hp (Dimensions of a Popular Intellijel Case), since your needs will likely change as you start using your modular and learning more about what can be done.

Hello
Im in need of a great fx to do delay/reverb what would be te better option for hypnotic techno i know the fx aid has some delay into reverb algorithms.
And the ghost had multiple fx on board
Anyone with experience in these module or other great alternatives
Thanks in advance
Hi!
I just got my bitbox, but I can't find any way to change the default 4:4 bars to something like 4:3. I know it doesn't have an internal clock, but it make it impossible to record / sample 4:3 music. Is an update planned for this? Can the firmware be edited ?
Hey, I’m building my first rack. It’s starting out percussion-focused but I also have a moog matriarch (as far as analog gear goes at least) that I plan to patch in tandem with my rack eventually. But I write synth pop music with the intention to perform this music live. What are some of your favorite modules/methods for being able to re-patch your setup rather quickly for a live performance setting? For example I’m eying the Erica synths black hole dsp2 right now because it allows you to save any effect configuration you patch it into as an instantly recallable preset. That combined with my Erica synths LXR which allows me to switch between pre-mixed and patched drum kits in a single click. I have my own ideas involving using the Eric’s synths matrix mixer but I’m curious to hear what you guys know and love. I’m new to eurorack and I would love to expand my module library beyond just Erica synths lmao
ALM just announced their new full system. I’m loving the new color scheme, if I didn’t pretty much own everything here I would totally save up to buy one.
After a few weeks of planning, researching different modules, reading reviews, and watching people I like make music with these modules (The Unperson, ann annie, he_nu_ri), this is my attempt at a compact starter rack in 64HP 3U. Link to the ModularGrid: https://modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/2686912
There's a bigger emphasis on FX than anything else here, because my plan is 50% generative ambience with the Rings and 50% feeding external audio into the Rings (samples, guitar, hook it up to my Moog Sound Studio, etc). I know it's sorely missing an attenuator and LFO's among other things. I'm also torn between the Nautilus and the Mojave.
I would love to hear thoughts and advice from people here!
Hello
I really want to make the bleepy hypnotic techno but when i sequence something with the metropolis and atlantis it sounds to quantized,
Is there a way to fix it that it sounds less melodic.
Or any tips?
For the heads, .@doepfer_musikelektronik quad lfo triggers 2 x @expertsleepers disting mk4 dual sampler players with playback speed of wave tables and drum elements altered by @zlobmodular ‘diode chaos and #ianfritz #chaotica. Trigger rate is manually manipulated.
I've been slowly building a rack that's focused around processing audio in interesting rhythmic ways, centered around Data Bender and Mojave.
Been looking into adding in a percussion synth voice inspired by DFAM, for exploring heavily modulated abstract percussive sounds, (I use a Digitakt for more conventional drum sounds).
So far I've found Basimilus Iteritas and Crust might be right up my street. Just wondering if there's any other options of this kind. Ideally similarly small and not crazy expensive.

Looking for users who knows one or the other, filter bank option - what are the pro/cons on each modules ?
It's Friday! What are you and your modulars up to?
Looking for the most unique oscillator that is performance oriented (meaning no menu diving) and brings something(s) to the table that no other oscillator does. I will also add that not being well known is a plus as well. Hoping to learn or discover something new from this post. Being a current or prior owner of the module is helpful as we would love to hear what you liked and did not like about said recommended module.
(will also mention module can be a quad, paraphonic, wavetable, etc. so it pretty open ended)
I'm thinking about building out this rack in an Arturia case. Being new i want to probe the community for feedback. I'd hate to set myself up for failure. Let me know what you think!
I'm in the market for a new audio interface and the Evo 8 is quite compelling. Looking at the specs the max input level is +16dBu and modular (from what I understand) outputs at around +14dBu. Just wondered if anyone has one and if so how well it works. TBH I would love the smart gain feature so I can concentrate on making music and not fiddling with knobs. I have a step down module if the signal is too hot, but it would be nice to plug straight in.
Or what else? I have a Stillson hammer, tetrapad and voltage block but looking to offload the hammer since the faders are hard to keep track of between track switches…is vector a feasible live sequencer that doesn’t take all the focus away or is there something else I’m missing? Looking to play quite fast and tight rhythmic stuff…thanks for ideas!
Curious, how do you use it? Please share
I just got a new alm cizzle and am having some issues. When I plug it in it lights up everything looks good but it makes no noise. I e tried multiple cables and hooked it up to multiple power supplies.
What does work… if I unplug it while the rig is turned on and plug it back in it starts making sound. Ive never had a module act like this before or know what to do about it. Any ideas?
I played my first ‘gig’ with my rack last night, performing an improvised score during a live recording of the podcast I work on, Tales From Wyrd Scotland!
