Hey y’all I’m pretty noob at guitar, so I was wondering if anyone can help me out with the strumming pattern to “the water boy returns”
i've realised that i'm a bit too in depth in my interests and not a lot of MoBo fans are like that..i want to be able to know, like, everything about my hyperfixations and they're a little too underground for me to do that without invading privacy or going to extreme like fbi research. that's the thing that drives me insane is that there are so many people who like them and they have quite a few songs that are pretty popular on tiktok, but im the type of person to find a new interest then go on all socials to find anything or anyone talking about them, and there's like no one. i need lore and old footage!!🙁 sorry to kind of vent! but i really need more people to talk to about them especially if they've been fans longer than i have😪
does anyone have explanations to the whole Modern Baseball Iceberg? i know a youtuber named Nate The Mate did a video on it but he (no offence) didn't know what most of them were referencing and im too curious to let it go. i wish i could contact the people who made it so i could know what they meant by each one because i need to feel insightful about my hyperfixation!! i feel behind here, help!!
I’ve had a nagging, half formed theory bouncing around my head for months. I truly believe Modern Baseball was the future of pop punk for the next generation of fans — perhaps even on their way to Blink-level status eventually. They had everything, charismatic funny members, great musicianship, authentic momentum behind them, and they were really solid live.
Most importantly, they wrong GREAT songs. Hooky, riffy, catchy, energetic and meaningful lyrics that really articulated a generation’s observations and anxieties. They were like lightning in a bottle. And each record was an absolutely great in its own way.
And don’t get me wrong, I’m super happy for Jake, SBD and everyone else for their success. I really like the SBD records and see them live when they’re in town. But I often find myself just really missing MOBO and just being in denial that they probably will never reunite or play again. Shit kinda hurts!!!!
i’ve been wearing my sports hoodie around for about 3 weeks now and every time i wear it people think it’s hilarious im wearing a hoodie “that just says sports” until i turn around
but i went to a local protest and someone recognized it and said something to me, i neverrrrr find people around me that like mobo so that was kinda cool
modern baseball is just acoustic weezer
Does anyone know where I can find it ? Or willing to sell , because willing to pay the resale price .
constructive criticism is welcome but i am not a multi instrumentalist so cut me some slack lol ik the vocals are too low, they’re as high as i could get them when editing this together
Super duper happy one of my favorite bands and I love all the band members hope they enjoy the money :)
If you want to say why you can
I'm definitely not hyperventilating right now guys cause WHAT THE FUCK!!

YGMIA HOODIE ‼️‼️‼️
Intersection is one of my favourite modern baseball songs and I old love to own it on a CD but I can't find any.
Was Intersection ever released on a CD or should I just stick with Spotify?
I'm new here and I wanted to hear your guys opinion on the saddest song and your reason why I'd love to hear your responses!
i’m sure this question has been asked a few times and i’ve done a bit of my own research but if i’ve learned anything, it’s that there’s always someone on reddit who knows more than you. so i was just curious if anyone knew how to get that tone that mobo has on sports. it’s like, almost a clean tone but not quite?
