so i applied to be an RA for the 2025-2026 school year. the application said that interviews start in february, so i wont know until then so i am planning on living on campus next year even if i dont get to be an RA, bc i wouldnt be able to find other arrangements in that time. i was told that i should sign the housing contract. do returning students get any priority in housing selection or is there a chance i wont get a room?
Is there a way to download my class schedule to my computer easily?
I'm asking this for a friend, but has anyone here been able to petition successfully for the university to take them back after being dismissed for conduct? Going up to the committee is not an option in this case.
It does involve law enforcement, but thankfully, the charges will be sealed after a year of probation, and a year later, they plan on getting it expunged. They also plan on petitioning the school after the charges have been sealed.
What are their chances, what can they say in the petition or do in the meantime, etc?
UPDATE: Would going to community college (online), volunteering, getting a job, and seeking "professional help" with letters from them to prove it would help? That's their plan as of now.

Hello Mizzou faithful,
Sooner fan here looking forward to visiting your campus for the first time this weekend. Coming in Friday and looking for some of the top places to see/eat/drink while in Columbia this weekend. Any recommendations appreciated!
I'm transferring from mizzou at semester. How should I go about breaking my lease? My apartment is owned by the Scion group.
I’m a transfer and I’ve been able to talk to people in my classes and would consider them acquaintances but not necessarily friends. When I come home, I usually just do homework and stay in my room. I have a roommate that I talk to but she’s busy most of the time. What’s a good way to make friends? I’d go out to bars but don’t think that it’d be safe to go by myself. Engage doesn’t really let you see any meeting times for clubs without actually joining. Any advice? Kind of intimidated by some of the people here. Should I just ask the people I talk to at school to hang out after school? Please be kind.
I’m just trying to not pay $13 for a sandwich.

Winner of three Tony Awards, three Outer Critics Circle Awards, two Lucille Lortel Awards and two Obie Awards, Urinetown is a hilarious musical satire of the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, environmental collapse, privatization of natural resources, bureaucracy, municipal politics, and musical theatre itself! Director Dr. Joy Powell and Choreographed by Emily Ehling. In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!
Hi, how can I return my package from Amazon at residence hall? I'd like to choose 'UPS pickup' option, but I'm not sure where I have to drop off the package. First floor desk? Or in front of my room? Could anyone who have returned it on Amazon tell me this information? Thanks.
How has his previous finals been? I know each class has its own learning objectives, but how was it set up? Was it cumulative? Was it just a combination of previous tests? I really need all the insight possible 😂.
I have a midterm on Thursday but was wondering if going out afterwards would be worth it considering it’s the center of the week. Have you guys already gone out?
anyone else having issues with the Tiger WiFi while working in Ellis, especially downstairs in the café part?
Hey all! This is my first post so I'm not sure I'm putting this in the correct subreddit. I was curious about the strategic communication capstone MOJO Ad journey. What is the interview process like? What questions do they usually ask? Is it highly competitive? Does anyone have experience being rejected or accepted? Thanks for any input!
According to my admission page, they just calculated my “core gpa” and I have a 2.72 which I much lower than I thought it would be. Over all I have a 2.98 gpa, a 23 on the ACT, and a 4 on AP language and composition AP test. I did apply test optional but my college counselor emailed the college asking if I could apply with test scores instead and or submit my test scores. I had a really rough junior year which I explained in my essays I wrote and I am apart of Psi Alpha (national honors society of psychology, applied when I still had a 3.2) and applied for a bachelor in psychology. Do you think I have a chance?
Anyone taken the class before that knows how much the professor curves it or what he curves it on. He said it doesn’t apply till the end of class
Curious, which states outside of Missouri make the biggest out of state student population.
Of course every college is partying and drinking. But do you think Mizzou is a top party school in the region and nationally? And do you think Greek life party scene is as active and wild as some of the big name Greek heavy schools like those in the South?
Hi all! I am desperately seeking help with this class, Marketing 3000 w/ professor Poor. Does anyone know of any tutors that might be able to help?
I’m not sure if I just don’t know how to study for this class or what the problem is but I’ve done pretty bad in the last two exams, it’s feels like the exams do not make any sense. Same for Accounting, I feel like I understand the material but when it comes down to exams, I bomb them. Maybe I need a different way of studying and I don’t know how to go about doing that. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
I have a very hectic schedule since I work full time and I am a full time dad but I can move life after work around a bit to make things work with tutoring.
For any older undergrad students at Mizzou, how do you stay not lonely or bored while here? I’ll be 25 coming back to mizzou soon but worry about it since I’m older. Just trying to find friends, connections etc. also nice to find people who like to go out every once in a while
Should I take managerial economics or money, banking and financial markets. Is managerial econ really hard? I didn’t really understand micro/macro very well as I took it online. But managerial econ fits better in my schedule. Let me know please and thanks!
Which is usually more preferred and better quality? And do they get expensive on weekends/nights/game days etc due to much higher demand?
