Hey! I inherited a whole bunch of patches!

Hi all! I just came across this subreddit and thought it might be a good place to tell you about my NASA mission patches! I came into a whole bunch after a friend passed away. She was selling them at a local planetarium she worked at they don't want them so now I have the whole inventory. I am trying to sell them, I have them up on eBay and Etsy. I don't know much information about the patches themselves such as where she got them, but each has an informational card on the mission.

I would love some advice on how to sell these, what they're worth, or any information about them! And if you're interested in buying please browse what I have!

eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/114191784268 this is one of them, please see my seller page to see the rest

Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/SpaceStoreFinds same ones but higher prices for the Etsy crowd

Hoping for help.

Hello, my husband has always been fascinated by Astronomy and Space travel etc. In passing he mentioned recently that he would love to own a genuine space patch? I would love to get him one as a surprise for Christmas. Can anyone help me, as to a) where would I get one from b) how would I know it was real? This seems like a bit of a minefield. I hope someone here can help? :)

Nasa Patches

Has anyone heard of these guys? www.popularpatch.com/nasa-patches I think they are all replicas, but wondering if anyone has ordered from them. Interested in a couple mission patches they have. Would love to get the originals for my backpack, but these seem ok. Anyone?

AB Emblem makes NASA patches - are they the only ones?

I found out today that they make (and sell) all kinds of space patches! Cheaper than ebay and free shipping. I ordered some today, and I'll post a follow-up with pictures when they come.

Welcome to /r/MissionPatches

Hello everyone! Thanks for checking out this new resource for finding and sharing information on mission patches from the aerospace world.

I recently started collecting mission patches, and a lot of the fun seems to be learning about them, trading with other people, and figuring out what's going on with the designs. I was kind of amazed that a community for this didn't already exist, so in the grand tradition of Reddit, I made one of my own!

Please use this community for sharing information and for finding people to trade with. If you have any questions, ask here, otherwise, submit great links and let me know if you need anything!

Thanks,

--Matt

edit PS - If you're of the artistic type, it would be awesome to get a /r/MissionPatches mission patch for the header!
