Whats your shoot at layering multiple hihats while playing?

Hey so im preparing a set and i have some concerns. Im mixing on 4 decks (DDJ1000) and opinions about mixing in key in general are divided. I play at least 3,4 tracks at once and basically i dont know whether i have to strictly stick to key because it isnt like a short transition - more like componing 2 tracks so that the sound like one.
Do I have to stick strictly to key?
Songs like Nikosf. - Autumn Tree , Octex - Nigljana, and I know it's a little different Katze - French Coffee
Basically that repetitive low, speaker-rattling bass/808s throughout most of the song WITHOUT much atmospherics/pads. So what exact subgenre of techno would you consider these tracks? And where can I find this kind of music?
