Hello! I am interested in a masters in Emergency Management. Anyone in here been through the program? Is it a good one? I currently have a BS in EM from Jacksonville State and work in a county EMA
Hi, I'm applying as an adult student (mid 30's) and don't know what to write for my personal statement. Im not sure if I have to write something extensive to get accepted, or if I can keep it short and brief since it's a 92% acceptance rate. Can I get examples of what you guys wrote for that part who've got accepted? Thank you guys!
I'm considering both York College and Millersville and am going to major in environmental science. If you have any experience within the envi sci major (or another comparable major, such as biology), what did you like / not like? Did you get a lot of hands-on experience or aid in acquiring internships?
Hello, I'm a first time freshman this fall living on campus I have some string lights that I am bringing to my dorm. I got an email today that says string lights cannot be hung directly on a wall due to potential wall damange. What exactly does that mean? The email then immediately explains the best ways to hang things on the dorm walls (thumbtakcs, painter's tape, etc.) but doesn't specifically mention string lights again. How should I hang my lights? Command hooks like I do at home? Thumbtacks? Not at all? Thanks!
My son is a returning student and forget to submit his housing request on time. He’s now on the waitlist for a dorm room. We live too far from campus to commute every day. Wondering if anyone was successful getting of the waitlist and receiving student housing this late in the game.
I am a transfer student, recently got accepted to Millersville University of Pennsylvania. I am majoring in construction management, is it worth it attending millersville for Construction MANAGEMENT?
Hello I’m a high school senior thinking of coming to Millersville. Does anyone have experience with the medical technology major (technically a B.S in bio with a concentration) I’m thinking of becoming an x-ray technician or some sort of career like that. I’m trying to decide where to commit and I’ve also gotten into a technically better school (at least according to niche ratings online) but I’m wondering if current Millersville students have any experience. Should I come here? My other possible school doesn’t have this major. Do you guys think Millersville is a good choice or would I be better off going to a larger state school. I’m out of state but price isn’t a concern thanks to scholarships etc. Thanks!
I know this is random, but I visited that college when I was in high school, and I remember one of the campus (I think it was the dining hall or something), had this beautiful modern avocado shaped chair in the lounge area. I need to see if it’s still there, and would love to add it to my furnishings wishlist 😭
My friend threw his keys at my bed and missed the bed hitting a wall instead. and there’s like a BB sized dent in the wall that’s semi noticedable in the wall. What are the chances of it being noticed at the end of the semester by housing? And if it is noticed what will happen?
Hello! Millersville is one of my top choices for college, but I’m worried about some things I’ve seen online? I’m a trans guy and planning to be an English major, for context, so I’m mainly looking for advice on the English department/professors and basically if I’d get harassed here. MU seems like a really nice school and I loved it when I visited, but I want to hear an honest opinion without any fluff or marketing tactics. Anything helps, thank you! PS: how is the food here on an average day?
Is same room selection not open until tomorrow? I thought it was suppose to open today?
Millersville’s One Day Give is just two weeks away!
Help support MU students and give to what you love.
Hello, Millersville is one of my top colleges. I plan on majoring in finance, so any info on that would be greatly appreciated. Also I play tennis, so if someone on the tennis team would like to tell me more about that that'd be great too.(I'm probably the only tennis player on Reddit though 😅). Thanks in advance!
I just graduated in May and having trouble kick-starting my career. Trying to find a place to talk to others that were in my major to see about making connections
Where, if anywhere, can I do this?
Anyone know of anyone looking to sublease near millersville? I’m going to be in the area for a summer internship and I’m looking for a place to stay.
I have recently been rejected from millersville (which is ridiculous) I had a 1060 sat score and was going to give my all to this school. The fact they had the audacity to reject me really marinates my bones in hot sauce. I am looking for people in the same situation as me in order to create our own institution under the name of willersville university. We will turn the m upside down and destroy millersville academically and athletically. Until willersville is the renowned as the new Harvard I will not rest.
I’m a senior in high school intrested in pursing audio and live production. I do live Audio at my school as a member/ leader of the sound crew and I was wondering from people currently enrolled or previously enrolled how the course is? id love to hear from real students !
Hello! I’m a senior in highschool, and my dream school is Millersville. If I go I’m taking secondary English education, but I’m not sure on how or if I’d do a minor or not. I’m not really sure on how many maths and sciences you have to take there, I didn’t take any AP courses so I am going to have to take them. Does anyone have any advice on what gen eds to take and which ones to avoid? I’m very, very bad at Math, but I excel in English, history, and science. I know everyones experiences are different, as we all learn differently, but I love classes that involve taking notes if that helps. What classes would you guys recommend? Thank you!
Hi everyone! I am going to be a high school senior, and Millersville is one of my top college choices. I am not completely sure on what to major in yet but I am thinking of Psychology or Finance (I may just go in as undecided).
Can you guys tell me about your experience at Millersville? Like classes/education wise, friends, dorms, and professors? The pros and cons that I should definitely know about? And would you recommend it? Thank you all!!!

Howdy Svillains - I was a sculpture major for a very brief year way back in 2003. I made a werewolf statue in bronze with a verdigris finish and gold leaf accents that was put in the summer art show - but as I didn't return the following year I didn't retrieve the piece. I'm desperate to know if that ol doggo is still hanging around the sculpture department, even if I can get just a picture of him for posterity. Thanks for giving this post a look!
