Redditors - is it possible to leave a bike at Millbrae station overnight? I'd plan to ride it to and from the station to work (in Burlingame) and leave it there until the next morning.

Since the Millbrae City Council couldn't care less that most of us hate those damn cameras and has, instead, opted for the money grab and renewed the contract for another 3 years, is there a way to get a measure or initiative on the ballots to prohibit funding the next time the contract comes up?

The rate increase is being justified by the Baykeepers lawsuit and capital expenditures made to fulfill that lawsuit. I have attached here the original lawsuit and additional subsequent documents:

I can say in my initial sweep of the documents, there are things missing and I don't believe the city has demonstrated the necessity of the capital projects plan that the rate increase will fund. There is not even a projects list included in the upcoming agenda.

We're in Mills Estates. The other day a couple of guys came by saying that they did regular deliveries in the neighborhood and were offering to sell us prime cuts of steak, as well as chicken and pork, for something like $4/lb. below retail. They had a refrigerated pickup sized truck that was all (elaborately) painted up like a real commercial delivery truck, complete with a website. They even had a pamphlet. They said that they supplied Ruth's Criss as well as a number of other well known restaurants. It seemed like a scam, along the line of the Speaker (White Van) Scam. At the best, it seems illegal in that they'd be selling excess company produce under the table. We'd only returned home about 10 minutes prior, so the garage door was still open and I'm thinking that's why they came to our door. Our neighborhood has an odd mixture of many older folks and a lot of recent, wealthy-ish immigrants from China.
