If the work has a title, please make that the title of your post, along with the name of the artist. For example: "Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci" If the work does not have a title, you are welcome to come up with one yourself.
Please post a comment with the source, to the best of your ability. Whether the place you pulled it from, the authors name, etc. Something that gives credit where it is due.

I read up on war artists and what I noticed was that there are/were some civilians who become war artists, traveling in war zones with soldiers and so on. AFAIK they get no training or anything, so I imagine they’d be a liability in a fighting situation. So why and how do they become war artists?
