So sad to see us win out 1st bowl and looking so promising when it came to the future - to having a completely abysmal offense and defense. IDK alot of people I talk to say just go AA but, I personally believe it depends on the coach. Went 1-12 / 2-10 some years and had talented guys on the field. I think it falls on coaching...but regardless I dont think they will ever figure it out with Burns at the helm.

Last night didn’t take them out of the race for a MAC title, but it complicated things for them a bit.

WMU is the last remaining team undefeated in conference play, taking down upstart and previously unbeaten UB . Toledo moves back into the top three after beating NIU in a defensive slugfest this weekend.

Watching Marshall-GSU on ESPN2 and there is absolutely no one in the stands, on a Thursday night!!!….AT MARSHALL!!!. 5 mins left and it’s a one score game. I guess the grass isn’t always greener like Turd fans would like the MAC to believe.

If the MAC put their games on a Thursday or Friday night rather than on Tuesdays/Wednesdays, more people would show up, and more people would watch.

How the SBC has a better television deal than the MAC is absurd, and a big reason why Toledo and NIU are considering leaving for the MWC (which quite honestly would be a major mistake for them). The MAC front office needs to do much better on the next TV deal. The current contract with ESPN is absolute garbage.

With the mountain west being interested in NIU and Toledo (and hopefully the interest is not mutual), should the MAC seriously look into expanding?

I would kinda love to see the MAC add NDSU and SDSU as a slap in the face to the mountain west conference for even looking at us… would like to see them add Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee State too… what do you guys think? I’m still sad that Marshall left all those years back. But I feel like they have to do something to keep the conference from getting picked apart
