I'm talking about this apparently very limited LP that had a small release back in 2019, with only a handful of copies.
The thing is that he played a live version of one of the songs on it and I fell in love with it. I can't find the recorded version anywhere, and this LP seems to have been sold out / no longer made for years.
Anyone have any ideas about how to find this?
Is that band more or less over and now he is focused on his solo career?
drop me a line!
Pleasssse
Tubby's. Sold out fast :)
Got the family together for a photo. Forgot to invite the cassettes, but they are here in spirit.
Huge fan of his, please let me know if anyone is trying to get rid of any
This song is turning out to be my favorite on the new album, but the chorus is keeping me awake at night trying to figure out this line!
"? ? but whatever works, snow angels in desert dirt. And the feeling that everything hurts, and so on"
Is it "Bent Angles", "Bad Angles" or "Bad Tangles"?
Or is it something completely different?
Somebody save me, I need sleep.

Hi, I’ll be seeming him live next month and curious if anyone’s been to a recent show that could shed some light on merch he may be selling at these shows. Regardless, I’m excited to see him live finally!
Does anyone know if the CJ Daytrotter session with the songs The Place By Which, Splitting Dreams etc, basically all unreleased stuff ever get released on streaming services? Does Daytrotter do that? These are some of my favorite songs he’s ever written, as well as many other unreleased songs you find on YouTube (Ma It’s A Jungle esp) but I’m tired of listening to them on YT or my old iPod. These songs are so good!! Why weren’t they ever released?!
I was at a Chipotle a few days ago and to my surprise, Chewing Gum from The River Strumming started playing. I asked the cashier if it was an employee controlling the music and he said it’s a CD they got from corporate. I guess there’s a CJ fan at Chipotles corporate offices. Was very surreal to hear the song in public!
Got this email from Colemine Records:
We teased last week that there'd be one more LP coming your way before we wrap 2023, and we're excited to announce it's from our friend, Michael Nau. The prolific singer-songwriter has put out multiple projects since the 45 we released on Karma Chief in 2019 ("No Quit" b/w "Rides Through The Morning"), but his forthcoming album, Accompany, marks the first full-length with us and we're happy to share it with you on December 8th. Pre-order the LP today, and enjoy the lead single, "Shiftshaping", now on streaming services.

Hi, I hope you are all doing well! I just bought tickets to the upcoming event on the 8th of saugerties! I'm pretty stoked as it will be my 2nd event ever, and he's one of my favorite artists. I hope some of you are able to attend too. Also, I was wondering if you think they will have any type of merch available? I ask because dumb me doesn't own anything physical form him and also the event is an actual house and not a typical concert hall so I imagine there wont be any merch or LP's to buy.
