My daughter saved this mouse from a snake snack, and I really don’t know what to do with him. Is he cute ? Well of course!! 🐭 we already have 3 Guinea Pigs , a cat and Dog. I don’t want him given a way to someone who is just going to kill him. Any suggestions? He’s white and tan and so tiny and adorable.
Hi, new mouse mum here (they're around 12w). Spent time getting them used to me and hand feeding them their seeds that aren't their usual food. However they are quite skittish and jumpy, how can I get them used to being held? They climb on my hand and sniff me and come to the door whenever I am near. Last time I tried, one nibbled and drew blood so I'm apprehensive. Thanks!
I feel that I almost have a phobia of mice, when they run across my room and shit I get all freaked out and squirmish; however, mice are very cute and I can’t help but seem to like but hate them.
I had two bigger mice and two baby ones that were recently given to me. they're in a glass 20 gallon tank til I can get them something better. but earlier today I was handling one of the babies, I put her back in the tank and i ended up taking a nap. when i woke up she was nowhere to be found. I've taken everything out and checked through all their bedding and still nothing. it's a glass tank so she couldn't have chewed any holes and there's nothing close enough to the top that she could've used to climb out. what do I do? I have three cats and they aren't allowed in the room they're in but I'm afraid of her getting under the door and them getting to her before I do...

Hello everyone! As my title asks, how long can a mouse go without water?
We currently have a mouse trapped, in a humane trap, but haven't had the opportunity to release it in the past two days. We found it in the trap last night and planned on releasing it today, but time got away from myself and my partner who had scheduled surgery today. With the way the trap is set up we were able to give it some dried apple and oyster crackers for food, which it has gladly eaten, but there's no way we can get any water into the trap for it.
I'm really worried about it getting dehydrated and don't want it to suffer.
I need help determining if this is a male or female mouse. It is a deer mouse, we found some babies with their eyes closed still that were orphaned and the mother was killed, we raised them and didn't want to let them go as I read they would likely die if so.
But this video is from underneath: https://youtu.be/iRp4IsUDABw
And this is a front view: https://youtu.be/RdeTjn1oM24
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Hi! I'm using a Razer Deathadder v2 X hyperspeed via Bluetooth in my laptop. I use it as a second PC so the mouse isn't usually used. But I need it to react fast when I take it. I don't have more USB ports so the Bluetooth feature is mandatory (That's why I bought this model) The problem is that whenever I take the mouse it happens to take 1 to 5 seconds until it starts responding again. Sometimes I even need to press some buttons. I think is a power-saving feature of the mouse. I tried deactivating the power management from windows but the Bluetooth device desn't have that tab in properties so it must be in the mouse. But I can be wrong of course.
So I have a colony of, I think, fancy mice. It started out with two I bought that I was intending on using as surrogates for a litter of babes I had. Please note, I was only doing this because the mother of the litter I had, had passed away, I think; I'm still pretty new to having mice myself but have watched and observed multiple owners before making the choice to get a few of my own; due to the size of her litter, Zazle was a small thing even though she was about a year. But since she passed and she was apparently the only female I had, I thought the two I bought from the store were both female, I had no mother to care for her babies.
It worked for about half a month before one of them (the babes) got sick, then they all got sick, and then I had no babies. I was devastated because they were the only thing I had left of Zazle but at least I still had her cage mate. To shorten this up I kept the surrogates in the same cage even after seeing as they had always been cage mates, they came from a breeder (my friend) and these two were used as brood stock, so I knew what I was more than likely getting myself into but I figured it was better than a depressed female and two fighting males, I didn't need that. If I had one male and two fems it wouldn't have so much of a problem but welp here we are. Anywho they did as mice do a reproduced, giving me what I like to call my colony. It's males and females mixed and the females recently had another batch of pups. (yell at me later I thought keeping multiple males in with the females would render the pregnancies void, I had read it multiple times doing research, but um I was wrong.) Now these guys are about a year old so I wasn't too worried about the pregnancies, UNTIL... Grunting. They just gave birth today, about two or more of my girls did and I have many pups, and I only found the babies because I had been hearing strange noises coming from the cage. I'll try and catch a video of them doing it my room gets a bit noisy during the day coz of the road out front but if it get it I'll try and post an update. The closest sound I have to compare it to is if you've ever heard a rat with a starts of a URI (Upper respiratory infection) that's what these grunts sound like, only a bit slower and more low pitched.
I'm also not sure fully whose the culprit I think I caught one of my males with the grunt but I think it may have been multiple. I've never heard Zazel do this before or, for the short time it was, after she gave birth. Neither did her cage mate. Is this something I should be concerned about given the colder weather setting in or is it all just mice being mice??
TLDR; I'm a dumbass who didn't get correctly gendered mice the first time round and then I got accidental babies. Momma was a year old but she was small, pretty sure a runt, and her litter was lorge, it was all too much for her and she passed. I contacted a breeder friend who for a nice price gave me two of her breeding stock to act as surrogates and that worked well until sickness hit the pups and they were basically squad wiped from the census. I kept my new male and female in the same cage, all too well knowing what would happen but I only had two cages and very little money and I didn't want bloodshed and depression. Basically in my efforts to circumvent Romeo and Juliette but with mice I ended up with the litter I have now so aptly dubbed The Colony. Well mice do what mice do and after a year of peaceful living I have more babies but this time the entire colony is emanating this weird grunt/squeak sound that I've never heard before, well that's a lie I've heard something like it in rats when they get an upper respiratory infection. Is it cause for concern or no?
If a rat looses it's tail, will it still live on forever? Please help. I am petrified of rodents.
I had a small monstera plant next to the cage Its been there for almost a year and no problems but somehow my mouse managed to pull a small leaf into the cage and was chewing it over night. I found lots of pieces around the cage so I don’t know how much if any she actually swallowed, I cleaned everything but when I googled it some sources said it was poisonous to mice!??
Someone please tell me if I fucked up what can I do I can’t have her die she’s my baby I’m freaking out so much
Hello I'm in urgent need of some help to sex my mice pups. They are 19 days old now and I have to wean them very soon and cannot determine the genders for some reason my head playing games with me.
I have had my razer Viper Ultimate for 2 years now or something like that, but just recently its been cutting out every single minute. I tried to update the driver and everything but it keeps happening. And the weird thing about it is, i can still use the left/right mouse button and the middle one, but i can move it. Anyone who has a solution?
how much on average do you spend in a month for your mice?
-is the scroll wheel a left and right scrolling as well? is there good detents on it? not the free spinning kind?
-can you disable the rgb without installing the software?
-are the inserts of the pattern on both sides, smooth or rubberized and textured? I prefer no texture at all. just
My two mice spend each waking hour running on their wheel. Every night when I get home from work, I find poop smeared down into the crevices of the wheel. I don’t want them playing in their own fecal matter, so I take it out to wash it. When I come back, they’re agitated and digging around in the bedding to find a way out of their cage, especially during the weekly deep clean. I want to teach them that cleaning their home is a good thing. I hate that this essential part of their care is such a stressful experience.
I have a razer mouse that I bought for $120 (poor financial decision I know) about 9 months ago I think and I used a broken mouse pad now a large mouse pad, but the little black pads on the bottom that help it glide wore out within the first few months, is there a fix/better mouse you recommend?
I mean I can't think of any scenario that you need to suddenly change the DPI.
Especially some of the mouse put the DPI button at the place that's easy for misclicking,
it could be very annoying.
That's why I always try to remap the DPI button to some other function.
I made a YouTube video where i make some mouse cursors and in the description of that video there is a link where you can download the mouse cursor's I made from the website which I created them on and there is a link for the website which one can click on to create their own mouse cursor!

I would like to know is there any other mice out there that supports "hybrid wireless/wired" features?
The reason I am looking for a hybrid is because I work from home. I have 3 PCs to switch between. My personal one, my work laptop and my work desktop. I know there is software like synergy etc. that will help with having one mice between multiple PCs - but they aren't all on at the same time. There is only one on at a time. The setup currently on my desk is quite busy with mice.
Preferably my personal one should be a wired connection as I play games on it (should be type C) whereas my working laptop should be Bluetooth and my work desktop can be 2.4 G or Bluetooth (but would prefer to have the option of a 2.4G having a variety of 3 total different connections)
So far it looks like the only one is the Coolermaster MM 831 that supports 2.4g , Bluetooth and wired.
The Steelseries Aerox 3 wireless looks like it supports 2.4G and bluetooth but NOT wired connection (only charge) - if someone knows if this also supports wired id appreciate it as the website is a bit vague on this feature and only see " 2.4G , Bluetooth and off " at the bottom of the mouse.
The DARK CORE RGB PRO SE Wireless Gaming Mouse will most likely be skipped due to it looking like a much larger mouse than I'm used to.
I currently own both a wired Logitech G Pro ( and a wired G102) and I own a Coolermaster keyboard with support for 3x bluetooth connections and a wired connection and works perfectly between these 3 PCs. Now i just need to sort out the mouse situation

As the title says, I'm wondering which mouse will be better when they both come out, also is the xm1r shape and texture similar to the gpx shape. Thanks
So my Grandpa suffers from Parkinson's disease, and because of that, he occasionally has spasms and throws his wireless mouse on the ground and breaks it. His current mouse seems to be holding up, but it is fairly small and I wonder how long it will take to break.
So I was thinking about buying him a much sturdier mouse for Christmas. While I think it might be better to buy him a wired mouse, I feel like he prefers wireless mice for some odd reason. So if I could, I'd rather get him a wireless mouse.
What is the material that most mice have on the main clickers that contact the micro-switches?
