Does anyone have a reliable contact at Merchant Lynx Services with managerial authority they'd like to share? ML is holding funds from us and being very dodgy about it. Anyone have any experience with ML specifically?
Is there a PDQ machine out there that records an operator ID with every transaction and reports on the total value of transactions processed by each operator at the end of each period.
Hello all, we are a new company building a website and we sell seafood. We're looking for the correct terminology and merchant account to allow us to bil later after the customer has place the order on the website. It's hard to describe but think of it like how gas stations operate, your payment info is taken but the actual amount of sale is not known for a day or two later. It will be the same with the seafood as the weight is not known at the time of the purchase but after preparation. Does anyone know what this is called and where we would go to get this type of software that will work with our website?
Hello r/MerchantServices! I'm starting a payments business in Europe and want to hire someone to research the regulatory requirements to obtain an e-money license and to become an approved payment facilitator with Visa/MasterCard.
I essentially want to hire freelance, ideally someone that has experience in the payments processing space. I'm torn on where to start to look for someone whom I can hire to do this specific kind of research. There seems to be a lot of freelance sites for many different tasks, wondering if anyone in the community can make some suggestions to give me some direction on where to look.
Thanks, everyone!
Hey guys I'm scaling my business pretty quick so I don't have much merchant history to provide high-risk merchant accounts with but I need around a $1 million/month limit in order to continue growing my company. Does anyone have some recommendations on who to go through for something like this?
I am considered a "high risk" business because of the fact that I sell Kratom. My business has grown very fast over the past few years, and I have been accepting payments through Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, COD, etc. This is horribly unideal. Not being able to streamline payments through my website has caused my business to be very unorganized. I have applied to so many merchant sites and can't seem to get accepted. I don't have much experience with this at all, and I would really appreciate any tips from others dealing with the same thing!
If there is a better subreddit for this, let me know!

Hi,
Had a quick question for those who work in a franchise environment:
Do your payments settle at each individual franchise site you have? e.g - someone pays $12 at your store, and the store takes the $12 and pays corporate fees, scheme fees, etc out of the purchase, and pockets the rest.
Or, is it processed centrally? e.g - someone pays $12 at your store. the $12 goes to corporate, corporate takes scheme fees, corporate fees, etc out of the purchase, and dispurses the remaining back to the store

I have a restaurant and over all fees I'm paying over 5%. I think this seem too high compare to when I'm first sign up. What is everybody paying?

I'm in Canada. Not sure if that changes anything.
I currently am with Global payments and have 13 wireless machines. Haven't researched the latest technologies and opportunities but am trying to give myself an update on what's new in the merchant services game.
May change providers.
