Meow Wolf is an immersive arts and entertainment company based in Santa Fe, New Mexico with additional exhibit locations in Las Vegas, Denver, Dallas, & Houston. Meow Wolf was established in 2008 as an art collective but is now a privately held B Corp. The mods don't work for Meow Wolf, this is an independent fan-run subreddit.

Surprised no one has mentioned the upcoming layoffs. Not even a peep from the union ๐ค
I spent an hour wandering around the Denver gift shop picking out items that legitimately delighted me the most to share. Meow Wolf had zero involvement.
Totally absurd impractical mugs - Meow Wolf always had some slightly unusual mug shapes but they've really stepped it up with this Baba Yaga and Mr Mugly "sculpted mugs" they're called. Showing up to a work meeting carrying either of these bad boys would be an absolute power move. I don't see Baba Yaga sold online so you might try this eBay seller in Las Vegas who specializes in MW merch.
Cowboix Hevvven "neon" sign - Made using the same LED neon as the art in SipZ cocktail lounge this accent lamp looks amazing. I've long had my eye on it but I just haven't found the right wall in my home for one yet, as soon as I figure out where I'm totally dropping the $95 for one. (shop link)
Happy Garry plush keychain - Hailing from the Grapevine exhibit people LOVE Happy Garry... People have pledged their allegiance to Happy Garry and would take a bullet for Happy Garry. Meow Wolf has a bunch of plush keychains from every exhibit, but my pick for best plush keychain goes to Happy Garry. (shop link)
Yawlp Puppet - This item isn't exactly new but I feel like everyone loves the Yawlp and goes crazy for this adorable plush puppet. Plus if you buy in-person at Meow Wolf it's $19.75. Online it's $39.50 but there's currently a promotion for 30% off with coupon code "ArtYouCurious." (shop link) If you're more of a patch person, the Yawlp Affirmation Society is always a solid option.
Obsidiopolis Metal Lunch Box - The only lunch box MW sells but Obsidiopolis is a perfect fit since her graphic aesthetic is so clean and simply looks amazing on the glossy metal lunchbox. (shop link)
Plotzo Athletic Pendant Flag - As I learned from the tile mural in the arcade of Radio Tave, apparently Plotzo is a sportball jock, so obviously his many fans need a pendant style flag to support team-Plotzo. Only sold in-store $15.
Pins - Meow Wolf has a strong pin-game so here are 4 of my personal favorites. The triple cat ice cream cone is by "Sa Lawn" artist Waffle Cone Club. Frog-Bats are a more obscure resident of C-Street in Denver. And the Ryoonis inhabit Numina in Denver. Pins shown range from $7-12.
Angel Poly Western Shirt - A western style shirt with beautiful Meow Wolf lore embroidered on every side. IMO the sheer amount and quality of the embroidery justifies the $110 price tag. Thanks to Chappell Roan the pink ponies on the front of the shirt are hot right now. For pink ponies on a budget, you could always get this pin for $10. The pin did seem to be sold out in Denver when I visited last Friday.
"Fidget" Magnets - Like enamel pins Meow Wolf also has far too many magnets to pick from but I especially like these two that have elements that move or spin. The cat's eyes rotate hypnotically and the strawberries and bananas slide back and forth along their wiggly path. These look to be sold in-store only.
Rose Beef "Rope" hat - Colored in two shades of 90s beige and sporting a rope across this front this is the most retro styled hat I saw. The front has a large Rose Beef embroidery pattern with other smaller designs on the side and back. It's $32 but again you're getting a ton of really nice looking embroidery on all sides for that price, it's a strong piece of wearable art. (shop link)
Grapevine Aesthetic Water Bottle - The floating pink and purple orbs don't have any specific meaning or lore, rather they are part of the unique graphic identity created for The Real Unreal Grapevine. The combination of those orbs and the MW logo set on a clear bottle really caught my eye - This bottle looks good both empty or full I'm sure. $19.50 appears to be in-store only.
Retro Hotel Key Fobs - Artist FutureFantasyDelight did a "capsule hotel" in Grapevine so it's fitting that this pearlescent acrylic keychain would be themed like a retro hotel key fob. (shop link)
Omega Mart Floral Button Up - What I love about this shirt is how it appears to be a regular floral pattern at first glance but the more you look into it the stranger things you see. I would 100% wear this. (shop link)
Pixel Party Holiday Sweater - This sweater has A LOT going on, there's a Yawlp, Happy Garry, and even some Eemian writing. If you're curious what the Eemian says, it reads "temporal egg" thanks to someone on the fan Discord for translating that. It seems like too many ugly sweater style garments are done with printed fake stitching but knit sweater is the real deal, no printed design here. (shop link)
Killer Acid x MW Drippy Door T-Shirt - There are a number of items in the Killer Acid x MW collab line but this tee shirt is voted most likely to win you a trip to the drug-test lab if you show up wearing it to work on casual Fridays. (shop link) There's also this embroidered "explorer jacket" that two different employees mentioned to me.
Reminder, Supremium passholders get free shipping from the website. Also coupon code "ArtYouCurious" gets 30% off online purchases. Yes the free shipping can be combined with the coupon code. For items not sold online you could try this eBay seller in Las Vegas who specializes in MW merch.
When I first visited HoER in 2017(?) it was a peak experience, comparable to mystical experiences I've had throughout my life.
I believe it was the immersion of feeling like an impartial observer in somebody else's house, and their chaotic story.
Unfortunately, I didn't feel as awe-struck at CS. The art was phenomenal, but I didn't receive the same immersion as before. Perhaps I was sensitive to the massive amount of stimuli.
Radio Tave, however...wow. I went a few weeks ago at open on a Thursday, along with some family and friends.
Every single bit of it was fantastic. I could have spent 8hrs there, despite it being smaller. The story seemed nuanced. I'm still thinking about it, and curious about all the missing pieces.
The server cat. Aaron. The instruments. Just wow, all.
If anybody is contemplating it, it's worth the trek out there. Maybe you'll have a peak experience, too.
Just had an amazing experience going around this immersive experience, from the abstract art to all the hidden doors.
But can someone tell me about the basement with the secret race track, I was so confused on whether it really existed or not.
I am seventeen. My sister is fifteen. I want to take her to meow wolf for her birthday. I was looking at buying tickets and noticed that convergence station requires minors be supervised by an adult. it's kind of a long story but it would be difficult for us to get a parent to take both of us because of her custody schedule. I also don't want to pay for another person. Assuming we are very quiet and respectful, which we plan to be, how likely are we to actually get kicked out? Is it worth waiting to turn 18?
update: it was fine!!
Going to Radio Tave for my birthday next week. Which drink shall I try at Cowboix Hevvven? :)
They expect to welcome 3.5 million annual visitors with $796 million in annual on-site spending. It will create 4,086 jobs.
Hi, we're looking to get married at Omegamart in May'26.. so I'm looking for advice from those local who go often or have worked there even...there are two package options... we can have a private ceremony at either 11 am or 11 pm ( which makes the rest of the day a bit hard to arrange for other things we want to do) or just do it during business hours with 20 min private use of a space.... I'm wondering if it'll make much difference as we are a tiny party.. is it very busy on Thursdays typically? If ideally want my ceremony either 4/5p or 9/10p so what's it usually look like about those times?๐ also any other things i might like to know/think about that might help me decide are welcome thanks for any advice ๐ฅฐ
Ok I bit the bullet and got the Supremium Portal Pass w the current Black Friday-ish sale. I'll probably take a long weekend/mini vacay to tackle both TX locations and do a little sightseeing too, so looking for recs on best time to visit and similar artsy-entertainment things to check out in both areas. Thanks!
Taking 2 friends to Convergence this Saturday for my birthday. I havenโt been in about a year and wanted to know of anything new we can do! Of course, I have a full Q Pass and can open the portal and play the chimes in the castle. I just saw the pizza quest here (will be doing that!!) but anything else thatโs new or a fun side quest other that the q pass?! Thanks!
Now that Houston is open, I am looking forward to Los Angeles next year. Is there any information besides the announcement page? Does meow wolf ever do behind the scenes things for new exhibitions while they are building them?
Maybe it's a photo from the photo booth, or a brochure for Charlie's Forked Para Norm Tour, or paper mems, or the receipt tape the Star Tracer puzzle gives you at the end. Post a photo of your item in the comments.
Does anyone know where I can find the playlist for the music playing in the lobby of Radio Tave before entering the exhibit? We went there today and I was movin and groovin to the music! Loved it!
I dropped barbecue on my difficult spills shirt. One wash didnโt work. Should I try harder to remove the stain, or does this add character?
I went to Denver last year and absolutely loved it, spent like 3 hours and wished I would have stayed way longer.
I'm planning a trip for next year with my wife, sort of do a little road trip to visit several locations and also enjoy the surrounding areas.
I think doing all five in like a week and a half might be a bit too much, so, if you had to pick three locations, which ones would they be? Is it Santa Fe/Vegas/Denver all the way or should I take the Texas locations into consideration?
For those who want an idea of what this location is like, I have a few unlisted YouTube videos where I walked around using an Insta360 X4 360 camera. This camera is not well-suited for low light, so I had to record in a lower resolution format to help.
I have been taking digital photos since 1996 to document places I visit, but have started capturing stuff using these "VR" cameras lately. It lets me go back later and look at something no a wall or ceiling I may not have noticed and taken a photo of with the normal camera.
