So I’m having a hard time choosing between getting a pair of Ray-Bans or Maui Jim’s. I really like how the RB wayfarer’s look but I know that people bash them about their quality. Normally I would just go for MJ because most people universally agree that their quality is better but I couldn’t find any styles that are very similar. Just please tell me if I should get a made in Italy pair of RB or get some mongoose Mj’s.
Using Shein as reference (1 out of 10 in clothing durability and quality, judging by the reviews I've seen). Are there fast fashion companies and website that have clothes you can wear for a couple of years at least? These items will not lose coloring or shrink significantly when washed. Tell me about h&m and topman and any other outlet you can mention out there. Have their products lasted long for you? Give me a rating please.
shopping a dressy suit for an actor who is 5’10 with a 36 suit size but his arms are too long for a regular… i can’t find a 36L for the life of me if anyone has recommendations
Hi. I got these “relaxed skater chinos” (“relaxed, tapered fit” according to their description) and the waist fit is fine but the legs are too long for me (even cuffing isn’t enough) so I want to cut a few inches off.
I don’t want to go to a tailor and I have zero sewing capabilities or access. I just want to confirm that if I cut off a few inches off the length, it wouldn’t destroy my pants entirely.
Thank you all in advance! 🙏
I have bright orange air forces that I really like but I rarely wear them cuz I don't know what to wear with them please help
I'm looking for ideas on how to dress for a semi formal, or formal dance outside. It's also for valintines day if that changes anything I was thinking something blueish

I want to put together some modern, American, "rugged" looks. I'm interested in any suggestions for where to buy specific items I see in pictures. For example, where can i get a jacket like Daniel Craig wears over the sweater in this scene from Skyfall, what is that scarf-like thing under the sweater?
I don't know the names of the types of clothing I see, the type of fabric something is. I'd love any thoughts on where to get affordable stuff like sporting jackets, cool hunting or even quasi-military or survivalist stuff, too.
Hey (^_^)/
I was hoping to get some help and was wondering if some of you can suggest some cool items you would love to be gifted to you by someone you care for. Seeing as Vday is coming up soon.
Thank you!
I'm a 31 yrs old male. White collar occupation.
On the days I don't work, I like to dress up as other people according to my mood.
So far i've dressed as a
construction worker with ariat long sleeve work shirt, a timberland flannel shirt over it, some second hand work pants with hole and work boots with steel toe cap exposed from being worn out, both that i bought from ebay. ( i used uv-c light sanitized everything)
hipster, black short sleeve t-shirt, filson wax jacket, slim( but not skinny) dark blue jeans, red wing iron ranger boots, some colorful but not over the top colorful wool socks that shows.
worn out, dirty hiker passing a town from hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. I will actually drive to the PCT exit (just so happened there is one in my town), bucket hat, rei extended long hike backpacking backpack loaded with sleeping pad, trekking poles, tents, the whole nine yard, columbia long sleeve fishing shirt that has SPF. Long work pants, muddy hiking boots. Bandana. chapped lips. oily face. I got my inspiration from a book called Wild by Cheryl Strayed.
oil field trash. Unruly hair which i achieved with sea salt spray and root volumizing powder, very dirty white t-shirt, dirty jeans, dirty ariat western work boots. red bandana around me neck.
cowboys. depressed man. homeless. gardener. maintenance worker. painter. spoiled trust fund social media celebrity. criminal on the run. etc., I never dress up as fictional anime character. Only real person in all sorts of life.
I don't know, i guess i'm just bored on my days off, and dressing as someone that is not me gives me insight and a taste of what does it feel like to be that person, and it helps me getting into my character for the book that i'm writing( i don't write books for a living, it's just my hobby to write.)
I was thinking of getting suit, maybe 3 piece for collection. I might also wear coat with white shirt on jeans(dark navy blue jeans) and brown belt. What color goes well with it?
I already have steal grey and sky blue(with stripes)
When someone wears just one color with different shades of it,, people instantly recognize that they "go with each other" (monochromatic).
Analogous colors are sort of similar,
Likewise, having a complimentary color combination is straightforward because everyone has heard of the complementary colors in the wheel.
But if I decide to wear a "triadic" combination, say " Orange, purple and green... Will most people react by thinking that I just don't know how to dress? Same with a "split complementary" outfit combination. (Yellow orange, blue and violet).
I understand that experts in fashion are aware of what a triadic and split complementary combination is, but will most people realize that you're doing this on purpose? To each of you I ask, have you ever worn these triadic ior split-complimentary combinations, and what were the reactions you elicited from people commenting on your outfits?
Hello guys, this may sound weird but do you guys have old or extra clothes to donate? It would be a big help. I really love to accept those. I hope you're doing well and Godbless!

Hey guys, Im trying to figure out whats the casual form of a Tux/ Suit. I saw my professor at the university wear it with jeans and nice shoes and it looked very visually striking. Same with some guys out on dates/ bars, where they would wear the same, it looks nice but still with a sense of casual.
Also, if you guys have any other alternate styles and pieces of clothing, it be much appreciated.
I have very little sense of fashion. My perspective of clothes was just to be comfortable until it goes bad. Now, I am in my early 20s and want to feel confident on what I wear. There are few people who I follow for their sense of style. For example, Bretmanrock has evolved and developed his own style. I appreciate how he gets inspired from people from music videos, magazines and movies. He will twist to his own. However, when I go to Pinterest or Google, it is white men wearing very tight or similar clothes. I want to see more minorities having their own sense of fashion. I want to play with colors, textures, materials, prints, sizes, volume, and silhouette. I like some trends but I don’t know how to make it my own. I would like to know what can I do? I would like to know what y’all did?

Hi all - posting on behalf of my fiancé since i have Reddit. He’s looking to “grow up” his wardrobe - he’s in his late 20’s but a lot of his clothes are from his early 20s.
For some reference, he’s 5’10/5’11, slender build (more rectangle than square on top), and a bit lanky. He consistently says he wants to look “sharp” but avoids preppy styles.
He loves collared shirts, but I think that his wardrobe can consist of more than just that to express how he wants to project himself… i just don’t really know how.
Any suggestions on styles or fashion books, brands or stores that might have offerings that he’d like? Our budget isn’t huge, but I’m a fan on building a wardrobe of good, quality pieces over time. Thanks!
