Hi.
I have a relatively old split-leaf philodendron and brown/yellow marks are appearing on the leaves. It recently had a thripe infestation which I think I successfully saw off.
The plant is in a relatively shaded spot and I'm using a SANSI 36W LED Grow Light which is about 45cm from the tallest leaf (see image). I was wondering whether it might be light burn and whether I need to swap out the bulb for something less powerful.
Any help would be really appreciated.
For those who appreciated my fern's growth from May-August, I thought an October update may be fun.
This was peak bloom, when the first flower fell off. My first full bloom, start to finish.
This beautiful fern thrives in this office and I can’t keep mine alive at home to save my life.
I bought this guy in the sad plant isle at Home Depot around 1998. We live in Colorado so he’s been inside his whole life. 15 feet ish tall. I love him so much!
Giant zz plant spotted at local Vietnamese sandwich shop. They actually have two of these behemoths, one at each end of the counter. Owner told me she waters them with rice water once a week. 1 gallon (3.79L) bottle for scale.
She blooms several times a year and loves this spot in my office!
