Hoya Carnosa in the wild on the east coast of Hawaii island!

This mature babe took up several entire trees and the whole area smelled wildly delicious. Meanwhile, I can’t seem to keep one alive inside my home .5 miles away…

Someone said you guys would like my grandparents snake plant :)

Smol dog for scale. Grandma said it is over 40 years old. It has to be about 7 feet at the highest points.

This absolutely massive 'floating tree' in a floodwater ravine.

Apparently the flood waters rush through this ravine to slowly wear down and break roots over decades. This ravine branches off of a major river with a hydro dam upstream so when it floods there's nothing that stays in the way for long.

Begonia Corallina de Lucerna and puppies

My favorite plant. I got her as a single stem from an estate sale in 2017. Propagated cuttings in water and planted in the smaller pot in front to make it appear more filled out.
