there’s a sleeping dog and a box full of something? in the back of the 55’ ford F-100 panel van
Do you purchase Matchbox for playing, display them or for collecting only an leaving in box?
I got as a child lots of Matchbox, Majorette and other toy cars around the 80's, later I bought myself from pocket money, now for my son, but never ever for keeping in original box. Of course, I tried to keep in original, mint condition while playing (not as my son, where paint is optional...)
Don't you think as the die cast technology improved, the details of the cars reduced (to keep increasing costs low)?
Some cool models I found today at a local hobby shop (Black Cat Collectibles) in Torrington, CT. I’m especially happy with the moving parts BMW M4 Cabriolet, as this has got to be one of my favorite moving parts castings. Hope to see Matchbox do more with this model soon!
Cool store in Westchester County, NY - Westchester Trains & Hobbies. Most of those empty pegs courtesy of me. But they have plenty more, and they’re actually planning on expanding.
Can't miss this one in a crowd
Where can i start? Headlights with wipers, grille and volvo logo, mirrors, mudguards, rear lights, plate, volvo and 240 decal, and the list goes on!
Is there any other regular matchbox that is as detailed as this model? This car literally put my appetite off from collecting other models, hotwheels included...
Girlfriend hauled these for me today. I have some more in my collection too. I’m a new hot wheels collector, so all my post are there.
New Matchbox and Hot Wheels VWs
Got myself a Porsche 911 Targa matchbox because I like a character named Porche (from one piece) and I thought it’d be funny to have a little toy of what she’s named from.
But I see 60/100 on the box and all over other listings for the Porsche 911 Targa. Does anyone know what it means?
There were 4 on the peg at Dollar Tree. Now there are 3.
