I heard you guys like tiering and vinyl collection flexing, so here is my take on it

Marilyn Manson’s new album is an instant classic. I’m 42 and been listening to MM on and off for over 25 years and this is the album I’ve been waiting for probably since after Holy Wood. It’s classic Manson but fresh sounding. Brutal/raw but catchy as hell and excellently produced. Manson has never sounded better or more on point.
Anyway, and apologies if this has been well discussed, but had MM released a steaming pile of dog shit. Something self-indulgently bull, blunted, lazy and meandering, would every mainstream Rock and Metal outlet have covered it just to rip it and Marilyn Manson himself to pieces? And the fact they haven’t, speaks volumes of the quality of this record. 
People may say “no, he’s rightly being ignored because he’s (allegedly btw) this, that and the other” but I just don’t believe that these handwringing luvvies wouldn’t have been queuing up to piss all over MM new shitty record…had it been even close to being one.

this may get sappy but bare with me.

when i see content from new shows my brain goes like “cool another concert :D” and then i start thinking about how close we came to never getting this again. i’m so grateful we live in a time where we can experience this again, where *he* can experience this again.

to see him on top of his game.. vocals killing it, physically stronger.. *mentally* stronger!
it’s something i wanted for him for a long time, and honestly not something i really thought seemed achievable to the extent he pulled it off.

i think no matter how it can be spun, this comeback is crazy. he turned his life around. it would be stupid to try to defend some of his actions in the past, but honestly it’s crazy that 2024 MM is the same man we’ve seen over the years. it would be insanity to deny his effort, drive and improvement. it strikes me in such an odd way that this is the same guy.

i never stopped loving him thru his worst. i’m glad we all stuck around to see his best.

Anyone open the limited 300 vinyl from MM store?

So I was ripping my CD copy of the new album and I noticed that the CD artwork was a rough sketch of this art print included in the box set. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but I wanted to point it out as we still have very little info on the art prints aside from the one that serves as the inner artwork for the album's lyric insert / j-card.
