Yeah, 7years i moved to this house and decided to put all my guitars in the spare room downstairs. A little chillout "me" space / mancave.... Slowly turned into a proffesional music studio... I dont mind... Heck! I absolutely love it!
I'm looking to add music and smoke to my man/sports cave. I want it to automatically go off for a set duration when a team scores a touchdown or something. Anyhow have any advice on where to begin this next step?
I've shared my mancave here in the past and normally would share antiques like this in r/antiques but it isn't 100 years old yet.
Hey guys! I am starting a public bar and I would like to give it a "mancave vibe" but because opening a public bar costs a lot of money I would like to start out "cheap" and add things organically like in a real mancave!
The idea came from party's I threw in the shed behind my parents and now a lot of ppl are asking when the fun nights are coming back.
So I leased a semi-small space with a terrace and now I'm looking for a theme and some inspirations. I would move to have it as dark as possible but I think the "speakeasy" theme has been used too much in bars lately!
Throw me some ideas!
Stumbled upon a very rare mancave addition. Tap handle shaped just like a JD bottle. Cannot find it anywhere online except an article on https://beertaps.blogspot.com/2015/12/tap-handle-554-jack-daniels-distillery.html . Anyone got a clue on the value of this?
I'm just an old retired guy and working on my peaceful place. It's not quite as plush/fancy as some, however if I spill a beer no problem. My dog 🐕 and I hang out here
I am looking to have a wet bar installed and I am looking for a contractor. What's the best places to do searches?
Just wanted to share my man cave that took me almost a year to finish! It was a giant space (2500 sqft), and I had no idea where to start. It started with building a movie theater, which you can see in the photos. I put a nice cinema entrance with posters and a snackbar with popcorn🍿🍫, etc. Has a full kitchen with a double fridge/bar fridge. My family and I are huge Christian Bale fans, so we had to do the Dark Knight theme at the entrance, followed by the Joker🃏
Hmm, what else? a dartboard, a pool table, a few of our favorite arcade games, and some wall art with a poker table where we spent a lot of time.
The Movie Theater is a 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos theater with 7 chairs. I have a separate post and video of the whole setup. If you click on my profile, you can see all the specs. The basement also has a living room with a 5.1 theater and two bedrooms for the guests. 😊 Oh, and the washroom has a mini working TV, which is hooked up to the movie theater. It’s for those who get up during a movie, and so I don’t have to pause anything that’s playing in the theater! I know it’s a little extra, but hey, I designed it all. So! 🤷 and Oh, don't ask about the bike🏍️... That is a long story, lol
Also, guys, thank you for all your questions! Here's a full video of the entire process (time lapse) and you can see how I did all of it: https://youtu.be/p1hiFT305HM?si=b3t_GwZUTxHW-Ddt
The Grand Entrance to the Theater
This is the layout before it all started. I had no idea it would finish like that!
The Rack which I hid behind the stairs and tucked away in the theater (inside the wall)
Another area to watch TV with a 5.1 Surround and Fireplace :)
and my favorite. Tried to make the Batman armory :)
The layout from audioadvice.com - Without this I wouldn't know where to even begin!
Still a ways to go but coming along, still looking for ideas to use the space....
