let me know what’s wrong with this fit (think it’s fit imo)
I’m talking down to my lower calves like a dad in the 90s would wear. There doesn’t seem to be any middle ground between £60 ASOS ones and four figure designer ones, my my usual go to mid range places (APC, Asket, Percival etc) don’t do one long enough, although Percival come close -

Any recommendations for good brands I might have overlooked?
I bought this thinking it was a tracksuit. https://m.jdsports.co.uk/product/black-boss-authentic-full-zip-hooded-tracksuit/19658762/
When is has come it said it is Boss homewear, no mention of that on JD so I am confused if it's for outdoor or indoor use?
I’m basically looking for where I can get trousers exactly like the the one in the photo. The one in the photo is the Men's Sonoma Goods For Life® Slim-Fit Pull-On Pants sold by Kohl’s in the US. I’ll try to add a link in the comments. Basically a slim fit cotton trouser with an elastic wait and fake fly. Most I’ve seen at hm and other retailers are either a polyester or linen blend. The pricing is also great on the kohl’s one.

I've always loved Uniqlo stuff for how light, breathable and affordable they are, and I also love these shirts fit - they're like the perfect sleeve body length for my tastes. The issue I have is I'm not a fan of their colour range. The purple and red are very bleak to me. Does anyone know of any similar t-shirts like this that are comfortable and have a better array of colours? Thanks.
I'm hoping someone on this sub can help me out, I'm looking for somewhere I can buy some decent long sleeve smart/polo style shirts (available in the UK). I'm not some massive bodybuilder but have a nice taper I've worked hard to build (about 46" chest/34" waist) and even slim fit shirts my sleeve length tend to fit tight around the chest and like a nightgown around the waist. Ocasionally I'll try something in Next or M&S that fits but it's very hit and miss, Amazon has a selection of muscle fit shirts but it's all Chinese vendors of questionable quality, I found one(!) item on River Island like what I'm looking for and Tailored Athlete seems to specialize in this but I don't fancy paying 80 quid per shirt :/
Does anyone here with this sort of build have a place they recommend shopping?
I like the south american vibe and theyre on an unbelievable sale. Can you imagine an outfit where these work for men? I wonder if the shape or something is just too feminine. I dont mind feminine in theme but the shapes in their clothing dont fit men in my opinion.

this is a small columbian company where they make hand made fibre stuff. I purchased placemats before and they were great but seems theyre closing down with a huge sale.
Hi all. I'm looking for a decent autumn jacket on the slightly more casual/urban side. I like the Carhartt Detroit Jacket, but not a fan of the very prominent branding. Any other suggestions for a similar weight? I'm struggling with too much choice out there... Thx!
Hello All,
Thinking of buying a jacket from the brand Brakeburn. There aren’t many reviews online except the ones on the Brakeburn website. If anyone has got any experience using clothes from the brand please share.
This is the jacket

Thanks.
Hi guys wondering what your thoughts are on this brand RBLKZAN.com they seem pretty small but like the style,
It’s a TV presenter wearing it, possibly Belstaff or similar.
I asked in malefasion but think I may have more luck here
Was looking for some boots to wear with dark blue jeans mostly and maybe black if i could get away with it if not lets stick with dark blue.
Not looking for too formal, just for walking around town in the crappy weather. I had narrowed it down to
https://thursdayboots.com/products/mens-president-lace-up-boot-mocha-suede
but not been 100% sure on sizing i dont want to order from the US for them to be wrong. They said Amazon sell them but I cant see any in that style and size and also the ones they do have in are way pricier.
So looking for some that are going to stand up to the rainy weather, just for around town and local dog walks that will go with indigo jeans.
Thanks in advance
Hey! Been shopping for some new clothes lately and have noticed a lot of mens clothes seem to be very monochrome - mainly greys, blacks etc, and the clothes which are more brightly coloured are way too out there for the everyday guy, think bright pink blazers etc.
I wear mostly basics (t-shirts, hoodies, jumpers mainly) but I definitely think there would be demand for more exciting colours, like baby blues, pinks, lilacs, mint green etc which would be appealing to the mainstream?
I wanted to see if people actually feel like there's a market for these types of clothes - I might look into designing some!
Let me know what you think! For context i'm 24 but I think that there should be more colours in mens clothing at all ages tbh.
I want to preface this by saying I don't know the rules and had looked at the other option (About I think it was) and saw no rules, no flairs for advice or support or anything)
It's my mother's funeral next Monday, had the council and ESA playing games with my family's money for the past 5 weeks. Finally managed to ordered a coat Tuesday, it's to be expected today (So it said before purchasing). It's from Handsome Dans. Reviews everywhere else indicate I'll never get it in time. Can't find any way to contact them either. Do any of you have any advice because it's been one frustrating day of action after another? I just want to do my mother proud and finding clothes at the height of 187cm is a pain.
Does anyone know where I can find this coat, in this colour, size uk men’s large please? Sold out everywhere as far as I can see. (Looking for exact match, not the similar coat that doesn’t have the elastic waist)
I fancy this dark blue curduroy blazer from Charles Tyrwhitt, but I can't quite stomach the £279 price tag. Does anyone know any sources for a comparable jacket that can be got for less? I'd be willing to pay something like £180, but I'm open to options.
I'm located in London, if any specific shops come to mind. Thank you!
I would like to order one of their hoodies but I kind of need it asap before Wednesday as I am travelling the next day to a concert. however this website does not have any contact info or expected delivery time so im reluctant to order at the moment. https://oversizedclothing.co.uk/
if anyone has ordered from here can you tell me how long it took for your product to arrive. thank you
Hello everyone, I'm not a part of this community, but man do i need help. I was looking at this zara dress my girlfriend really likes. Apparently it is only sold in the UK and doesn't ship anywhere else. So to get to the helping part, I'm not from the UK, so I can't get it or order, I've tried through a friend in Germany, that failed, so I was wondering if anybody from the UK would want to help me get the dress, if so dm me.
Hi all, first post here, but does anyone know where to get a jacket like this? Good quality and at a decent price (not looking for designer pieces)
Hey all, I'm in the process of launching an online menswear store for sustainable brands in the UK. Going through beta testing at the moment, but would really, really appreciate any feedback on any element of the site. If you have time to play around and let me know anything broken/wrong/that you think doesn't work or should be changed I would be forever grateful (not an ad, just trying to do it right). Thank you! https://stixstudios.com/
It seems weird to me that their casual shirts all have 2 cuff button settings but their smart/smartcasuals only have 1. But apparently it's "the standard" for smart shirts.
Hi guys, I've recently bought a few really nice second-hand Italian polo shirts and I'm struggling to find a suitable brand of chinos or trousers to pair them with. I enjoy wearing loafers day to day so I guess I'm still looking for relatively smart but wondered if anyone had any recommendations? A lot of the high street brand chinos/trousers feel really cheap and just don't last. Dickies do some great chinos but I don't feel they work so well with smart polos. I'd love to hear recommendations, nothing tooo expensive mind you! Perhaps anything up to £100? Thanks!
Looking for something a bit higher spec than the standard good quallity stuff from M&S, Next, Charles Tyrwhitt etc, I'm hoping to expand my options with a slightly larger budget.
I gravitate towards slim fits over 'tailored fits.' I'm 6'0" and 75kg, generally a 32 waist and a 32 or 34 inseam, depending on the brand.
Big fan of elevated basics - folk, armour lux, asket, a days march, colourful standard - but none are particularly interesting / lively! What could I do to add some excitement?
Style-wise, my daily casuals are classic Vans. I have navy, burgundy, grey and several pastel colours for summer.
However, when do city breaks abroad I like to explore on foot and can easily cover 15k-20k steps daily. The soles of my feet ache after a couple of days of that in Vans!
Recommendations for an understated walking shoe for covering distance?
It's currently out of stock and am trying to survive the summer heat.
Without exaggerating, 30% of my wardrobe is from Ted Baker, with shirts probably over 50%. So, naturally, I was quite surprised when I read that Ted Baker is planning to shut down its UK stores and plans to go into administration (https://www.theguardian.com/business/article/2024/jul/26/ted-baker-plans-shut-all-uk-stores-staff-jobs).
They had nice design-patterned and floral shirts, ideal for adding a bit of colour and standing out in the office environment. And the price was between £70 and £100 for a long-sleeve shirt. What other similar (UK) clothing brand can I move to that is not too much for the office environment and has design-patterned and floral shirts? I looked at Paul Smith shirts, but they are £200+, and All Saints are more for a night out.
