Producers such as Ruboy, Pastis and Buenri, Sistema 3 and Gerard Requena, have played an important roll to keeping the genre alive. Although they do no longer actively produce Mákina, their tracks are still played worldwide. Now the UK is playing a huge role in keeping Mákina going with many people actively producing and mixing Mákina for release.
