Was playing my cousin, getting my ass absolutely handed to me until the last 3-4 minutes of the game. Somehow didn’t rage quit and ended up winning due to some masterful football on all 3 sides of the ball. LFG

The press conference before the draft I said I would get a 80+ in the first round. Then in the press conference after I said hb1 was a difference maker and he was set to hb1 and it said that I was wrong. Is the game just glitching or what happened?

I want to be in the playoffs with the records of real life for franchise.

Sometimes I like to run Superstar to kill some time on All-Pro Difficulty, but holy shit are the simulations the most illogical things, Jaguars beating the Chiefs???

I don’t know what’s more unrealistic, Cowboys putting up 62 points or them getting to NFC Championships two years in a row.

At the end of my season, I got a scenario where Jaylen Warren demanded I upgrade my O-line … like his 1,300 yard season wasn’t good enough.

I didn’t feel like promising that since I had no clue what would be available in FA or what overalls would be in the draft so I turned him down.

I ended up having to make him a promise of 15 TDs kr 1500 yards next year. I went with TDs. He said if he doesn’t get it team morale will plummet.

My question: what happens if I trade him before the end of the season? Will it go down as a failed promise? Anyone have a guess?

I am new to madden and struggle to defend this play. What can i do against it?

Its illogical. it makes no sense that sense i chose run outside for my offense that running inside is difficult like all of a sudden my linemen forgot how to block for interior runs. it makes no sene that sene i chose short pass that my receiver suck at deep pass routes.

it just all around makes no sense that this mechanic determines how your player ratings function.

Disclaimer: I mostly play franchise and the only Maddens I’ve ever played are Madden 06, 17, 18, 19, and 23. Out of these, 19 is by far the best, with 18 as the second best. I loved the changes to Franchise mode from Madden 18, especially adding the RLE, RRE, RDT, and other special positions to the depth chart.

While I agree the actual game animations are pretty bad, it’s so much better than 23 because it’s actually hard enough on All Madden. In 19, I won two super bowls in about 10 years, which feels about right. However, in Madden 23, I won a Super Bowl my first year, leading me to play a franchise where I could only draft players with Q’s or Z’s starting their last or first names. I ALSO won the Super Bowl my first year with that franchise. And yes, this was on all Madden.

Another big thing for me is the injury system. In 23, players never get injured for more than a game, which is very much a part of football. In 19, the injury system seems balanced, with not too many injuries to make it not fun but enough to make it realistic. Also, don’t get me started on progressive fatigue in Madden 23. One of the worst additions in the history of Madden.

While 23 has a much better draft and free agency system, 19 is overall a much better game and pretty solid overall. It’s not deserving of the hate it gets at all.

TL;DR - Madden 19 is severely underrated and much better overall than games like Madden 23.

It's literally unplayable for me on PC. Any solutions?

Is there a way to prevent when you are 3-5 years deep into a franchise and your coordinators get taken every offseason? I can never go deep into franchises bc eventually every coordinator gets taken leaving my team with nobody to sign.

Any way to counter act this?

I played FIFA 22-24 Ultimate Team and while it was somewhat longer/harder to play for free, with a normal amount of grinding and winning games top tier cards were fully accessible. However, I've heard worse things about Madden Ultimate Team, that it was more pay-to-win than FIFA and harder to make a free but still competitive roster.

Is this true? I really want to play Madden UT but don't want to grind/waste time only to realize that the real top-tier cards and packs are fully inaccessible to a free player.

Also, does the game cycle work similar to FIFA? It's later in the cycle, so are better cards easy-ish to earn/pack?

Wondering what playbooks and schemes are best for both offense and defense in franchise mode. I’m not playing any games, just simming. I want to win all 17 games, just want the cheesiest playbooks and schemes.

Between madden 21-24 is there one that's significantly better than the rest or should I just get which ever one I can find that's cheapest?

Also does anybody know if on any of these games you can make the players younger in franchise so older players don't retire? I like playing extended franchises

Anyone willing to explain or direct me to information that explains what calling Inside/ Outside does on defense? Also, Slant Left/ Slant Right. Advantages for this? Do you do a Slant Left if you think the RB is running Left? What about double tapping R1. I know it's for QB, but how exactly does it work and when is it not advantageous?

I suck at Madden but seeing clips online made me want to play. Is it worth is for $21 ?

I’m in a 32 man online franchise (yes idk how we got 32 people committed) and we are midway through 1st season. We are trying to think of ideas to make it last longer through years and make winning the Super Bowl actually enticing besides a bragging thing.

Any ideas? I’m open to hear them all out. Let’s keep it somewhat reasonable because the Super Bowl winner is the “best team” already.

Hi all, I'm from the UK and new to the NFL and Madden. Loving the sport. Need help though..... I took the Raiders to the Superbowl but my best players did not play, even though they were in my roster at position 1 and same for the depth chart. Why did that happen? Needless to say, I went on to lose 38-35 to the Cowboys

Any advice would be great
