We're playing All Madden with competitive settings: 7-minute quarters and no accelerated clock. Each team will be rewarded 1 X-factor player on both offense and defense; otherwise, there are no handouts. This league will not reboot; it will continue until the next Madden release. We'll advance three times a week—every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night.

I'm playing madden and whenever I press x (playstation) is does a wrap tackle. On the controls page it says it will do a breakdown tackle but it always pops up in game as a wrap. I'm wondering if there's other types of breakdown tackles and if I'm doing anything wrong.

Whenever I try to play a home game in franchise mode, it doesn’t load. I’m stuck at the “Ready please wait” screen. For some reason away games load, though.

On pc my ps5 controller keeps confusing the circle button with the scrolling up option. If I keep reloading it eventually works but it’s annoying. Is there an easy fix for this?

So I’m playing madden 24 and playing the superstar mode. How do I get my team to trade for players. I’m in year 2 on the pats (favorite team) and my current WRs are juju sterling shepard and davente Parker and a rookie. How do I get my team to trade for a real receiver.

So I am doing a Commanders Rebuild and traded for Adonai Mitchell, got him to Superstar after year 1. In the 2nd year now, and 4 games in I decide to trade Scary Terry to future plan as I don’t want to drop $20Mil+ on a 30 year old receiver. The week after I trade him, Mitchell tears his pectoral and is out for the year. No problem, traded a future 1st and 2nd and got Worthy from the Chiefs (Who literally had just enough cap to take the penalty for his bonus). 1 game played and he gets a knee cartilage tear, out for 7 weeks. No problem again I say, and I throw my Star Dev 6’5 94 Speed rookie into the WR1 spot. Next game, He gets a Torn Labrum. Safe to say it was a rough 3-4 game stretch with an undeveloped Luke McCaffery as my No. 1 but we got through it!

I just started watching football again, last time/game was when TO and Chunky Soup played the Pats in the Superbowl.

If I play any of the PS2 Madden games and get 25 one day, will I be at a huge disadvantage? All I have access to atm are PS2 games.

While I wouldn’t consider myself a huge Madden fan, I did pick up this years edition and was surprised to see the number of changes made to Franchise mode, and more specifically, the fantasy draft. For context, the last Madden I played was probably 18 or 19, so I’m assuming most of what I’m seeing for the first time is probably old news for a lot of you.

One of the biggest improvements I’ve seen is the AI and how they seemingly focus on things they didn’t necessarily before. Guys like Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams will go before higher rated yet older vets, and players with star or higher potential will get drafted over players with average growth potential, even if lower rated.

Just a few questions:

• How important is scheme fit? This was not a feature when I was playing before. Should I value it over potential or ratings?

• What strategies have you found to be most successful when drafting? Do you go best available, or do you build with the future in mind as well?

• Are there any patterns or trends with how the computer will draft that I can exploit?

Madden 25 Game mode: Superstar - League

I’m completely lost on how to get the coverage sack and run fit quests done. It looks like I have 2 each and I have no idea what I did to get them. I’ve played over a dozen games in my Superstar season and can’t figure it out.

Also, this is a QB. A quarterback is a leader, or should be. Men do not follow a guy like this into battle. I don’t even know what he’s trying to accomplish here, aesthetically. He shaves everything but the very front tuft of hair? And then gives it a combover? If I’m a GM I don’t have this guy on my draft board at all. I’m frankly concerned for his well being.

I guess on one hand it works well when you have a bad month and everything resets, but like it sucks that the rankings are really limited. It would be cool if they had a deeper ranking system I get this is the first year they’ve done this, but I hope things Improve which I know is asking a lot.

Is this a feature or a bug? I can’t tell you how many TDs or big plays I’ve given up in Cover 3 when my corners stay down on a curl or slant and a slot receiver streaks open downfield to the deep zone vacated by the deep third DB.

Oh, also, did they remove the match coaching adjustment? God I hate EA

What the fuck. I’m not super good at this game anyways but I don’t think this team with Joe burrow jjettas and jamarr chase should be 1-7. I supersim defense and it’s pretty much going to score every time I do . If I manage to make an accurate throw with 95 overall Joe burrow it’s either dropped or int or the 82 overall db makes a play with his head facing the complete opposite way.50-50 balls are like 15-85. On top of this u got recievers running to others on routes. Do I need to get used to this or is it just the game being shitty and this is just their “really hard mode” yeah I’m a casual gamer but shit like this doesn’t make much sense when I’m actually making plays and the game just makes the worst outcome happen
