Machinima (/məˈʃiːnɨmə/ or /məˈʃɪnɨmə/) (n.) is the use of real-time computer graphics engines to create a cinematic production. Most often video games are used to generate the computer animation.
A place to discuss all things machinima. Machinima discussion may include anything from actual machinimas, recruiting for machinimas, or if you are a voice actor, sharing your voice with us. (etc. etc. etc.) All machinimators know that voice actors are the hardest part of the entire machinima, so please don't hesitate to post your voice.

I want to create silly movies or videos with reminding of trash 80s B movies, I don't really care how they look, actually the worse the better.
Since I don't have cameras, actors, or money 😄, I think that this thing called "Machinima" would be perfect.
Problem is I don't know absolutely nothing about it. Not how it is made, what tools are uses, what is the process... nothing
Is there some sort of tutorial or comprehensive guide on the process of making machinima. Including what tools are best for it?
Thanks
I hired 3 professional voice actors to help me tell a story (includes language and violence).
Im trying to make machinima.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks?
Please let me know in the comments
Ps. SMG4 Is very cool, it has lore now, I like lore and overcomplicating storylines. WE NEED A LUIJI CHARCTER ARC AND WE NEED ONE NOW

And that's it.
A new gmod machinma I created.
The second part of my story. It took awhile. I hired a professional voice actor for one line (just for fun). It's only 4 minutes long if you have time to watch while pooping or something it would be appreciated.
The second installment of the prequel trilogy in my long running Star Wars parody in the indie sandbox game Blockland.
Glad to see this sub back up!
Big thanks to u/punicwars1 for reviving the subreddit. Here's to making the sub more active and engaged than it was before. The machinima community is huge and varied, so there's plenty to see.
As a reminder to everyone, the official Discord is pinned and we'd love to see you in there.
Just as the title stated I want to start my own machinima but don't know where to start I have ideas and snipits of story beats but don't know where to go.
