I play guitar, am learning drums and do some singing. I write my own stuff but I wanna find some passionate people to play with. If you bought a Mac DeMarco record or MD merch from there, for future reference, merch bar will not process your package 80% of the time and will keep it in holding for hella long. I bought a Phoebe Bridgers record almost a month ago, and it’s still stuck in processing. Merchbar support hasn’t been any help.

Met MacDeMarco after his concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland in 2019 (was anyone here in that concert?). He was pretty chill and seemed genuinely interested in what his fans had to say. I asked him about his meeting with Haruomi Hosono, and he told me how intelligent and polite the japanese artist was. Then he mentioned that at some point in their meeting Hosono went to the bathroom, took a dump and forgot to flush. Mac apparently left his stool floating around for days in the toilet and felt really flattered that he had Hosono's shit at his house lol
