PC REBOOT: Duel of Summoners

honestly, this is my first post on reddit and idc before about anything so i downloaded this now only to share my thoughts on the game. i loved it sooooo much like fr fr i feel that if there ever was a recreation of the game, there would be so many fans. i have played other games, which i curse the devs for shutting them down. like rwby amity arena for example. such good art and gameplay. no idea why they shut down. i also thought if someone in the community had like a friend in IT who would know how to configure and put together a new mabinogi duel. or course the game style would be the same and everything. im just lost on the whole art and copywriting stuff i’m a little slow on these things but lmk yals opinions. cuz, i don’t have any irl friends who played the game before.

Does anyone know the math for how the game randomly chose which resource to give you?

I played it a few years ago and I did like it a lot. I just found that it had disappeared with not much trace besides this Reddit thread. There were no news about the closure or how it did economically. Any info is appreciatted :D

How many generations/expansions were there in mabinogi duel and how many cards were in each of them roughly? I am trying to make my own tcg and I am taking a lot of inspiration from this game so I'd love to know as much information as possible.

Big rip, went through my old downloads and find this is 2015. I miss this game I was kinda good at it but dropped it in 2016 since I didn’t keep up with my free card packs and didn’t wanna buy packs.

Why don't we put a request on change.org? I know that maybe nothing will be achieved, but we lose nothing by trying

not just the art, the actual cards themselves with the values and stats etc. I'm working on something to try and make an easy playable version of the game.

We all mourning here, but honestly I still thinks about that game every month at least, it was the best tcg I played and I'm a magic player for years...

Anybody has a picture of the card? I've tried searching online but I couldn't find any pictures. I've been missing my card deck set ever since the game shut down and I don't have any screenshot of my old deck set.

Hello, I remembered this game a few days ago, and after discovering the card database on this subreddit, I started wondering if someone has tried to make a tabletop version on it. And if not, what are some suggestions for the level-up system, keeping track of creature's health and attack and other more complicated aspects of the game?

Does anyone know the game engine that the devs used to make maninogi?

Yeah, I still think about it. When I had it to play I clearly took it for granted cause it really set the standard for me and games like legends of runeterra today are great but not MD great at all. I don't even know where to begin my explanations of why this tcg was so great to me. How about the art style for starters, like just wow wow wee wow. And then you get to play with your whole deck...I love that. Man I miss MD

I really enjoy the story mode of this game. Me miss the quirky but interesting characters and their dynamics.

Man this game was so good me and my friends would play this all day during high school.

i loved to soul link with my friends' phones and the story was so engaging
