Multiple neighbors have mentioned that there is “a street” in LF that goes all out on Halloween night with decorations/sound/fog/etc. Anyone know the actual street?
Hi All,
We’re moving to the area soon and I’m curious if there are any good tennis academies / coaches nearby for aspiring players. My daughter is 13 and is currently playing 5 days per week (2-3 hours with conditioning) as well as a couple of private lessons per week. She competes regularly and is a UTR 4.
We’d like to keep going with a similar schedule and would love any recommendations for great coaches in the area!
There’s always so many people there yet only 2-3 people working the register. Surely they can afford to hire more employees. What gives? Vons is also similar.
Hi, new-ish to the area. Does anyone have any recs for an honest mechanic with reasonable prices? (Regular maintenance) Ty in advance !!!
Anybody have an apartment cleaning service recommendation?
Anyone else watching the Adrian Brody / Kristen Bell Netflix RomCom?
It’s filmed mainly in Los Feliz, Silverlake and the rest of Northeast LA.

Per sign outside former Burger She Wrote space, Boichik Bagels is setting up shop on Hollywood in Los Feliz
UPDATE: ADOPTED!
Does anyone in the LA area have room for a lanky, almost 1 yr old mutt? Super easy to handle, smart, loving, gets along with other doggies (basically everything you would want in a dog) but really struggling adapting to the shelter (both physically and mentally) so he will be euthanized next week. Koda needs out by Tuesday (10/1) (the shelter is closed on Monday). You can also view video of him in action:

What’s your best hangover breakfast option in the neighborhood. Bonus points for dining in solo that’s not awkward.
Anybody have info on the new building between Hi-Tops and Loupiotte on N Vermont? I noticed they started building a structure there.
Not sure if either of the victims are on Reddit, but just wanted to share that if you are looking for witnesses of a hit and run that an Infiniti sports car commited on Los Feliz blvd, I was right behind and saw the whole thing happen.
The guy pulled around me and went down the painted median at 50+ mph and hit a person attempting to turn and the guy in the lane to his right, then sped off heading West. Didn’t catch his plate but it looked like a white Infiniti Q60 with an ugly spoiler on it, and a black hood.
There’s a car I hear driving around 1130 to midnight around the neighborhood near the Los feliz library. Whenever it accelerates it nearly shakes the walls is that legal?
Im living in Echo Park & I’ve been wanting to start a dart team to participate in a casual dart league. I have my teammates all set, we are just looking other teams to play against/other people interested in starting teams.
All the leagues I’ve found in LA are pretty dead serious, I’m just a twenty three year old who likes beer & darts. Does anyone know of any pre-existing casual dart clubs on the east side? Any silverlake/echo park/highland park/los feliz etc dart enthusiasts who would be interested in starting a league?
I don’t know what they’re actually called but I’m talking about those little mailboxesque free libraries where you take a book or a leave a book. I remember seeing one during a walk near Franklin but I forgot what street I saw it on. Does anyone know?

Maybe a bit specific. When I was in Pasadena, Huntington Thrift was a shop that had a lot of really interesting period design decor. I could find MCM, deco, & post modern objects that were pretty quality. I have a lot of crystal and glassware I sourced there. ACS Discovery Shop has a similar sort of vibe. But I'm not really sure where to find that here in Los Feliz or nearby, its likely such a place exists.
i just got shouted at repeatedly and aggressively by the person in the shop who attempted to fix my bag when i asked about the glue stains they left on my vintage designer bag. i was calm and asked about the stain and details on how i might be able to remove it myself and he shouted: get her out of here. if i see that bag again, i will throw it in the trash. she does not appreciate my work. go ahead and leave a bad review. i responded, “it’s my first time here so please do not be aggressive” but the shouting went on and on and on as his colleagues tried to calm him. eventually, they rushed me out of there because this person was clearly irate. pretty wild that a business can operate in this manner. needless to say, they left glue stains on a very valuable luxury bag so i will not return and wouldn’t recommend them as the work was messy and this treatment of a customer is inexcusable.
Wow. Did everyone feel that?
Went on for 5-10 seconds.
anyone know what happened at maru today? i saw a picture involving several men struggling with eachother
Rumors or information about what is replacing McCalls on Hillhurst?
Hi all! I have just relocated from New York to Los Feliz and am absolutely loving it here. While I have been exploring quite a bit, I’d love to know if anyone had local favorites around here whether it be food, specialty stores (I think I saw a knitting spot 👀), or any other hidden gems they know about and want to share! Or any other helpful neighborhood info!
Also, any idea of where to go hang by myself at night that’s fun and isn’t strange for a woman to hit up alone? I recently had dinner solo at the bar at All Time and made 3 new friends so I feel like I’m on a good roll 🤣
Also if there’s any other women in the area who would like to be my friend, 👋 🙂
Thank you 😊

Hello Los Feliz music lovers,
I am a fellow LF resident and find myself with 4 tickets to a Blues show tonight, Saturday, at the Troubador that I can no longer attend.
