Rose Garden Market at Stifft’s Station

I'll keep this short, but anybody who grew up in this city I'm sure can attest to this. I have gone through 5 tires in about a year, and honestly no matter what vehicle I have I'm going to going through tires. I used to think my ex girlfriend was slashing my tires but it turns out this city is just dirty. Dude I ran over a nail that was, no exageration, 9 inches long. Yes a nine inch nail, in west little rock. It was literally in a busy street. And after finding TWO nails in my tire I'm pretty much at the point where I feel like the city should pay for it. I mean damn son, come on.

Can we get one street sweeper vehicle? I mean just one? Because you and I both know street sweepers don't exist here. Are we too poor? Is our city to poor for street cleaners?

Looking for recommendations to get a windshield fixed/replaced. Any specifically to avoid?

I attended Meadowcliff Elementary in Little Rock in the early 90s, and I’ve always been curious about my time there, wondering where classmates ended up.

Kindergarten: Mrs. Butts (1991-92), 1st: Mrs. Thomas (1992-93), 2nd: Mrs. Bishop (1993-94), 3rd: Mrs. Harp

I have memories of students named Brandon, Charles, Marlin, Jessica, Paul, Michael, and Alyssa. Probably more could jog my memory.

Wondering if anybody else got their signs taken out of their yards and would possibly have doorbell footage of the perpetrators. My cam did not pick up the theft and my neighbor (who also got a sign stolen) has a cam but it was dead.

I had three signs total but only one was taken (presidential candidate - who will remain nameless as to not break the no politics rule). DM me for more info if you wish. My house/neighbors house is located between Lee and Markham in the “ABC” section of Hillcrest. We are on one of the tree streets. TIA

An east LR apartment complex sent notices to tenants that we must start paying a water bill. My lease says the apt complex is responsible for water. The manager says they are amending everyone lease in December. Is this legal and who can I call to make sure?

Sammy passed over the rainbow bridge 3-4 months ago. He was 13, a senior and unfortunately had bladder cancer that took him fast. He was my service dog for 10 of those years. I adopted him at 11 months old.

I'm interested in 2 dogs locally, both are in the thr prison paws training program which is an awesome program. I put applications in and hope to hear soon. It's easy to quiet and lonely without a buddy.

This past week there have been road construction projects all around Markham. Saw an accident almost happen on W Markham near the mall, cones were out in the road, no signs or worker directing traffic but big truck in the road, car tried to go around truck and was almost hit. Workers then came out and directed traffic confusingly.

Cones on Fair Park and Markham intersection getting run over and almost causing accidents multiple times a day. No signs.

Markham and Pine, assumed water main break (water gushing on the street for the past two days). I assume that a hole was opened up to fix and some small cones put around the hole. A car drove into the hole, totally wrecked. No signs around, just small cones. Not saying they should have driven into the hole but there is a reason construction crews use large signs far away to signal to drivers that construction is ahead. Anyone see what happened?

This company is putting people in danger. Who are they? Have y’all see this other places in the city?

Anyone got anything cool going on this Thursday?

Everything I'm seeing is either already passed, is on the weekend, or for kids, which it happening on a Thursday makes it an understandable dead time for most businesses, but can't seem to find anything really beyond karaoke at Brewskis. Though I suspect it's because the events where the cool stuff is actually happening at has in person fliers or posters, or just forget to advertise in a way that non-regulars might know of (small business problems... Can't tell you how many live music events I've missed out on cuz I just didn't hear about it till later).

Lady's night at Gigi's, mad hatter feast at petit and keet (but $175 tickets), more karaoke at white water, but beyond that not really seeing much. Anything I'm missing?
