We have a company that we always use but this time, they've been the only ones to evaluate the situation. Before I accept their bid, I would like to contact 1 to 2 other companies to come out and give a quote. I'd prefer a reputable company. We went with the cheaper option for our sprinkler system and I regret it. I'll pay a little more for quality.

Does anyone know about the fire on Chenal Parkway near St. Margret’s Episcopal Church?

I drove past a few minutes ago and smelled smoke and saw about 4-5 fire trucks. I’m curious what’s burning if anyone knows. (I didn’t want to rubber neck while driving)

Just watched Crescent City last night. Shot in LR. Alotta cool shots and they even show the police station and documents clearly saying “Little Rock”. But I’m confused because they’re in “Crescent City”. I’ve never heard anywhere other than NOLA called that. Does anyone know the connection or why they did the movie this way? I’ve been very confused by it.

Neighbor leaves dog outside without shelter all day everyday barking and crying 8 or so hours I guess while at work. The dog is outside in the rain without cover at this moment again. Animal services is not open on Monday to take a report. The site says to call the police dept if outside business hours so I did and they refuse to check it out saying its not their job.

I'm a dog owner so part bleeding heart here, but it's bs and owner should be accountable. Any ideas or just let the dog scream in the rain and mind my own business...

Hi all! I currently live in SC and it just doesn't feel like home anymore. My fiance and I both think a fresh start would be good for us so we're starting the process to save up for a big move. One of the areas we've considered is the LR/Alexander area. What can you tell me about the area? Do you like living there? What are the pros and cons of living there? Are the people friendly? Is the healthcare system good? I want the good, bad, and ugly.

A little bit about us that might help:

• Both of us are in our early 30s
• Both work from home
• No children and no current plans to have children
• No family or friends in the area
• Generally homebodies but we do enjoy going out sometimes. Our favorite things to do are: have a couple drinks at a bar/brewery, walk around parks/downtown, attend concerts, go to festivals/faires, go to zoos/aquariums
• Big foodies. We love trying new foods and places to eat
• I'm chronically ill and disabled so access to quality healthcare is important
• Looking to be homeowners not long term renters. Ideally we'd be able to find a home either before we move or shortly after
