Hello! We are visiting Lisboa on 26-30 November and we would love to visit the Nazare town, but especially the Farol da Nazare, Praia do Norte. We aren't going to rent a car, so we were thinking of booking a daily trip with "getyourguide". Those trips mention Fatima, Batalha, Nazare, Obidos which is great, BUT in the description it refers to"Nazare " in general, not the Farol. We're clueless, so if experienced people here could help us find the right way to visit those places, but especially the Farol, I would really appreciate it. We will be staying 11 minutes walking from the Praça de Luís de Camões. Thank you in advance.
Obrigado!
Hi All, I am traveling to Lisbon for the first time and trying to figure out how to get from Lisbon Airport to Nazare. I have done some research and all signs point to take the bus via Rede Expressos. However, I have a couple of questions:
Traveling with kids so very much appreciate any local help.
Hello!
I'll be visiting your beautiful city in a few months (mid to late January)! I realize that isn't the perfect time to visit Lisbon, but that was the only time slot that worked for me, so I'll have to make do with what I got.
I'll be travelling alone, so naturally I have a few questions..
I'm staying for about 10 days, and the main goal is to discover Lisbon. Given the amount of days I'm staying, I'll also be making a few trips (Porto and Sintra in mind); what are some other places where you can easily plan a day trip to?
For the main tourist attractions, what are the lesser known attractions that are still worth a visit? Also, are there any places where you have to/should buy tickets in advance, or is it possible to just visit them whenever you want?
Last one: since I'll be travelling alone and I'm not a fancy eater, I tend to avoid most restaurants and prefer casual dining places. Are there casual dining places that still serve the local cuisine, and if so what are some recommendations?
I guess that's about it! Any and all help is greatly appreciated, and if you have any tips that aren't covered by the questions above, I'll still be glad to hear them :)
Sabem de algum grupo onde me possa inscrever? Obrigado 🙏
Boas,
Looking for a store in Lisboa that offers Christmas decor that isn't expensive and just for display. Does not have to be high end and can even be a loja do Chines. Thank you for any suggestions.
Hey everyone!
I was on a walking tour yesterday in Lisbon and when we were passing by from Chiado, there was a very talented street musician, but I didn't get a chance to get his name/YouTube. Sharing a very short video of him that I was able to capture before we moved on to our next stop.
It would be great to be able to hear more of his covers if you know who he is!
Hello, i'm from algeria, and i want to volunteer in lisboa to discover this country to volunteer spend my time helping others, could you help me how to find free volunteer ?
Hi all, I am planning my visit to your beautiful city but I would appreciate some help from you :D.
I will be in Lisbon from 30/11 to 7/12. Some infos about me:
It's ok to suggest expensive experiences but I would like to avoid all the tourist traps. I am kind interested in the the culture so for sure I would like to spend one night listening to Fado. I don't have problems in renting a car and potentially go to close towns/villages if it's worth to. I will travel with my girlfriend, she likes cute cafes and architecture and pretty things (sorry she forced me to add this last part).
So far my plan is:
Day 1
Plane -15:05(LIS)
Check-in in airbnb
Evening walk + dinner out?
Day 2
Visit Mosteiro dos Jerónimos
São Jorge Castle and walk in Alfama
Day 3
Visit Torre de Belém
Baixa,Bairro Alto,Chiado
Day 4
Oceanographic Museum
Day 5
Day 6
Day 7
Day 8
Plane 12:25 (LIS)
It's not optimized in terms of efficiency in trasports.
I plan to use public transport, so I was wondering if there is a weekly ticket or should I rely on the daily ones? Maybe the lisbon card is ok since I could visit some museums, no? Please suggest also some restaurants/cafes. Thanks a lot for your help :D
I will come to Lisboa next week and I really want to get some Korean skincare products. In my country its impossible to get an original one so I want to buy some from Lisboa. I can’t order online because I will only stay a few days so is there any shop I can buy Korean products like round lab, haruharu, Anua at Lisboa?
Hi folks!
Every time when traveling I bring my parents a picture of that city, mostly print copies of beautiful scenery of that town, arround the Size of A4 or greater.
Does anybody know an art-shop, place where i can find those kind of art in Lisboa?
Would appriciate any tips and hints ♥
Muito Obrigado
Hello,
I’m expecting a baby next month and am in the process of buying a stroller. I’m not familiar with the options available and would appreciate any recommendations on reliable brands or stores in Lisbon where I can find a good stroller.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Hello everyone. I am in Lisbon these days and would really like to go at a restaurant or place where we could listen to live fado. Could anyone recommend me any places? Thank you!
Hi guys, I'm visiting Lisbon in late June with a group of friends (we're all 18 and girls) and was wondering where the best places to stay are in Lisbon if we want to go out and experience the nightlife? I've heard that Cais do Soudré and Bairro Alto are good for that kind of thing, but not too sure. Does anyone know of any Airbnbs or hotels which would work? There are seven of us. Also, does anyone recommend any clubs or bars in particular for our age group? Thanks!

Im planning a trip to Lisbon for a week in January.
Its a big and diverse city, so i was wondering if anybody had some suggestions on where in town would be good to stay. Maybe provide some pros and cons for some areas.
Im not big a partier, Im travelling to experience the proper culture: any food, art and history Lisbon has to offer. So even restaurants, museum & tour suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you to anyone willing to help!
Bom dia!
Is there any place where I can watch the fight this Friday?
Hello, Lisboans !
I'm working on a cyberpunk novel set in a futuristic version of Lisbon, where skyrocketing prices and extreme gentrification have radically transformed the city. In this story, locals are increasingly pushed out of historic and upscale districts as housing and living costs rise beyond reach, creating a city where Lisbon’s authentic character is under threat.
To make the story as true to life as possible, I’d love to hear your insights! If you have a few moments, please fill out this questionnaire and share your experiences: neighborhoods affected by rising prices, the impact on daily life, and where Lisbon’s heart still beats strong. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or newer to the city, every perspective is valuable.
