My grandpa's birthday is this weekend, and I need help picking out a nice vodka and tequila to bring him. I drink tequila, but don't branch out often, and I don't drink vodka. Any recommendations help!!
She gave me peach schnapps and coffee liqueur from, I think, ‘94. It’s unopened. I am assuming they’re still okay to drink, but since it’s not like, gin and a lower ABV I wasn’t sure.
She also gave me 30 year old gin, but I’m less worried about that.
On the bottom is says. Liquor Kentucky Dry
Hi, a friend and I plan to make cinnamon tequila soon. I’ve found a few recipes online and noticed a couple say to add sugar. Should I do that?…Does anyone have any tips to share?
Looking to find a canned cocktail that’s in Australia called Billsons raspberry vodka. Anyone know where to buy it? Thanks!
I live in texas, nowhere near cali or other major popular places that sell these. Im wondering if i can order these cocktail kits online somewhere. Only found one place, 3brothersliquor that sells online and just wondering if any of yall know of other places to look? TIA!
Found this old girl in a basement cellar unopened, i suspect about 20 years old but can't say for sure. it's quite dark in real life, mich like a very old white wine.
Ok, I wanted him to get my Butterscotch Schnapps, but instead he got me 99 Bananas(the root beer flavor, specifically).
my ass cannot handle it as barely sipping on it makes my chest BURN like all hell. Any suggestions on what i can do with it??? Either i get rid of it or i can find a way to drink it without utterly DYING
Pretty cool. Stuff. Obviously the obligatory question of how much they are worth. But also if someone knows how to find the year they are from?? Some have tax stamp on them, but they don’t say a year. Just some kind of serial number.
There was a craft vodka that I enjoyed and I recently repurchased it and the flavour seems to be different. Can a vodka change from batch to batch?
Didn't seem to work! Something like 10 years ago I bought a thing, like a kit or whatever, for heating up alcohol and huffing it. I'm not recommending it or anti-recommending it! I mean, unrecommending it. I'm saying, I wanted to consume alcohol in a healthy way and I tried it and felt kind of stupid cuz it didn't seem like it was doing anything. And not 10 years later something reminded me of it again. I checked and I don't think anybody has posted about it in this sub. Any insights? I suppose I could Google it, but I trust you find people more than any search results on the interweb. I kind of think that when I tried it I was doing it wrong! I mean, the thing I was talking about. Vaping alcohol. Salutations!
I’ve never had slivovitz before, but I’ve been hearing about it for 50 years, usually around Passover time.
I saw a bottle at my local liquor store. It was a little under $40.
I’m usually a whisky guy, but whiskey isn’t permitted on Passover, so I’m thinking of giving this a try.
I know it’s difficult to describe a taste, but perhaps someone here can give it a try?
(In case you’re curious: During Passover, nothing made from the five Biblical grains may be eaten, matzoh being the only exception. So no whiskey.)
I’m a big fan of all wines and most spirits by themselves. Vermouth for me though is just gross and I can’t get around it
Anyone* Im drunk
Several years ago I received this 'shooter' from the landlord of a bar I lived above who was in his 70s. I found it tonight as I was going through old cabinets, and I've been able to find nothing on the brand. As best I can tell using a bare understanding of the German language (and let's be honest, Google) it's a wheat based liquor; but I like knowing the history of stuff and am coming up with no results. Perhaps someone in this sub can provide more information!
It’s actually really yummy but now that I think about it I’m in Finland right now and I think the owner put something even better in the bottle after it was emptied. 😭😂
I’ve got my alternatives when times are tough but there’s nothing like the real thing
