After Brian is shot, he calls Rebecca to help talk him through patching the wound.
1st of all, when she answers she asks him, "Is the bullet still in your leg?" But how would she have known where Brian was shot? She wasn't there when it happened, and he didn't tell her specifically where he'd been injured.
2nd. She then, against her better judgement instructs him to remove the bullet himself with tweezers. Wouldn't she have told him to just leave it there until he could get to help? Surely digging around in his own leg could have caused more injury, and removing the bullet more bleeding.
Well, I'm on to episode 5. Even though I'm sad they never made more of this series, I'm happy to have one season.
Brian trying to play artificial brain on the road trip, and Rebecca immeadiately shutting it down is such a familiar situation to me. I cannot suggest anything for a traveling playlist meant for everyone unless it's been top 100 in the past 20 years. I have songs that are literally less than a minute long that people will turn off 20 seconds in, and I'm just like "last 49 seconds and it'll be over!" No you're not supposed to dance to it, I doesnt matter that you can't hear the lyrics, just fuckin groove
Also that was about to be a sick song. And now I'm listening to goatwhore. I tried skeletonwitch awhile back, wasn't really for me at the time, kinda just sounded all the same, I like I Am of Death though. But I'm on a rewatch so I'm checking out all these bands.
Does anyone know where I could buy the sweater that Brian Finch wears in the first episode of the show? I love how it looks and it just looks so cozy and I like that it was in the show. I know that it is the Urban Outfitters Koto Chevron Shawl Cardigan, but all of the ones I’ve come across are already sold.
Any advice?
Really i don't nothing about series, know this serie have all i like! Nando Moura is portuguese name?
Does it bother anyone else that they took a tip from Sands that in all honesty they should’ve thought up on their own?
Maybe Brewster was going to kill those people anyway but I don’t get the tip from Sands to look for people buying neuro enhancer compounds in bulk. Like no shit. The FBI didn’t think of that?
What if that pill gave him creativity and a kick, but made him write a book which is what we watch in the movie. Vernon actually is phar. Rep and he changed that for his book.
I know it was cancelled almost 6 years ago, but I just finished rewatching it again and this thought crossed my mind.
After watching the limitless movie and series I decided to read the books they was based on and I have to say I was really disappointed with MDT-48 (NZT-48 in the books). In the first book (on which the film is based) MDT-48 feels completely different from NZT-48, while in the film you could feel Eddie glowing with boundless energy and vitality through NZT.But didn't seem that way in the book. In the book he was kind of just very smart and nothing more but NZT did a lot more than just increase intelligence, it improved your motor skills, your senses and so on. While NZT in Limitless was like some kind of miracle drug that gives you limitless possibilities, MDT seemed a lot more like a normal drug, just a little bit stronger.
In the second book, MDT suddenly received a huge upgrade and suddenly the future development of society could be predicted for several hundred years, atoms could be seen and their trajectories could be calculated with perfect accuracy. In addition, it should be used as an opponent for artificial intelligence so that artificial intelligence does not become sentient and wipes out all of humanity.
I think NZT has portrayed this wonder drug much better than MDT. What are your thoughts on NZT and MDT? Which of the two better portrayed this "wonder drug that makes you invincible". Which would you rather take?
I just think that most actors they got for the role had a blue eyes. I Hope to see him lead this role and how NZT will change his life. His accent make this time different and sexy that will for sure love by audience.
anyone know where I can get the money clip from the season 1 pilot?
My IQ is 83.
I am 24 and a failure. Family loser and everyone moved on. I literally cried when I saw how NZT changed his life. I would take NZT for a day and feel smart, even if I die
Hi I'm enjoying the show but something is missing since the second episode compared to the pilot , it gives me Lucifer vibe , a show that i liked but couldn't continue watching because it's long and repetitive.
Also does the plot end with the end of season or there is plots that aren't finished?
I would use it to develop a truly self aware AI.
I WAS going to say i'd use NZT to understand women, but really, let's be realistic...
Hello,
I am an old fan of limitless, and I was recently watching elementary and noticed a lot of similarities in the plots.
Example: Limitless S01E17= a heist on the department of buildings which hides the real heist on the department of mutilated money, all during a large blackout in NYC.
And elementary S01E19= ... exactely the same plot
Also the characters are both super smart, and they tend to make miniatures of the problems
Is it just me or is there a fundamental problem with the series? At some point, Piper and Brian discuss that Morra is way longer on NZT than enyone else and they have no idea how to outsmart him. That is what I thought from the moment he appeared in the series. They cannot outsmart him, because he has been on NZT for years. But it would be logical that the main goal of Brian is to get out of his deal with Morra. So the only ending I imagined for the series was like how Reaper ended. Would love to hear other opinions...
I don't know if this has been talked about on here yet cause I'm new to this subreddit but does anyone else get chills when the painting of Rebecca is revealed in S1E4. It feels both wholesome but kind of mysterious and also the music adds a lot to it. Someone discuss this more w me
How is Brian on NZT while he goes to the nightclub and also later that evening when he's emailing people about genes etc. if he only gets one pill a day and it wears off before the evening?
Piper-upper...CUT! (sorry for the ssf2 reference...)
I think e17 might be the most pivotal episode. Did I miss something, or was he planning to be caught the whole time?
For some time I've just been wondering about how it could potentially work if it were real.
Partly for the fan fiction that I want to make (I'm thinking of a transition from how they vaguely define it in the books/movie/show and give a more realistic "upgrade" that a new protagonist would conjure up) and partly for my own curiosity. Are there any biomed/orgochem/neuro folks that know what could possibly be in that little clear pill?
Or what would a real one potentially be like or require and how it could work within the brain/body that makes it both extremely enhancing as well as destructive to the body like in the story?
I really wish there would be a Kyle Hill, VSauce, MinutePhysics, or Movie Theorist video on this but it seems like Limitless doesn't seem to be on anyone's radar.
Any speculation at all would really scratch that curious itch I've been having lol thanks yall!
I know the show was cancelled years ago, but I was wondering did they ever release a graphic novel or anything like that?
heck I'll settle for a good fanfiction
anything that could remotely work as a good follow up?
