Avoid groody road

Piss poor traffic management in place on both the groody road and blood mill road. Works being done on both, unrelated.

If you are in Castletroy go the mackey roundabout instead

Supermacs drive thru lane

Went to supermacs on ballysimon road this evening. Arrows on left point same way as road directions, keep on left dah!!! The line generally forms on the right when there is a queue and I can never understand this considering arrows are there on the tarmacadam. No queue this evening but I stayed to the left and had to wait to pull up to microphone side so right hand side was free for traffic as arrows directed. THEN!! A numpty in a red insignia who had room to pull out all along and go down the right hand side decided to throw fucks at me for blocking the road. After a few mins of waiting she pulled out and let down her window and told me I was on wrong side of road. My stance is the road layout in there is shite so don't be giving out to me and told her look to loon at the arrows!! Who's right?

Treacy Solar

Can anyone confirm if these guys exist or comments if they got work done by them? Got a recent quote but the lack of landline number etc. is making me suspicious.

What's going on with all the religious shite?

I swear Bedford Row has become a haven for religious extremists? Those weirdos that are by the cross and chase people down. Saw them talking to two teen lads today saying "It's so simple just accept jesus".

Across from them you have the Jehovas Witnesses standing in that one section looking miserable and hating life.

Then there's some fella with a sign saying he'll pay €100 to someone for something about Mohammed being in the Bible??

Now I saw a big sign on the construction where Stillhouse was saying John 3:something.

What's going on at all? Who's funding this crap? It's very odd altogether. Those ones at the cross are so annoying and really aggressive.

r/Irelandsshitedrivers is full of misfortunes

I get that occasionally 1 in every 100 posts exhibits actual bad driving, but I really don't think we need to upload people's regs and faces for not indicating or cutting you off at a roundabout.

I just don't think it's a good precedent to upload every minor infraction onto the Internet, now people are going out of their way to look for trouble so they can post it

And no, I haven't been posted if that's what you're thinking.

NEW SURVEY! Report your Fox Sightings

hey everyone! I'm conducting a masters research project with University of Galway on Urban Foxes around Ireland, which includes a Citizen Science Survey for people to report fox sightings to! Check it out here: https://biodiversityireland.ie/surveys/urban-fox-survey/

I need yall to help me by sharing this poster around and keeping an eye out for foxes - I'm collecting data from Galway, Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Limerick, Derry, and Waterford so if anyone is from these areas please spread the word!!

NOTE: My data is a lot more valuable with photos to back it up, so try and snap some pictures of the foxes you encounter!

you can learn more/further support the project on these platforms:

Thank you for your time, every record helps a lot!

Castlerock

"Hi everyone! I’m considering buying a house in the Castlerock area of Castleconnell and would love some local insights. How is the general safety in the area, and is there any concern about theft or other issues? I just want to make sure I’m making an informed decision. Thanks so much for any advice or experiences you can share!"

Salons/hair places that are good at getting bangs for guys

Currently trying to dabble with my hair and see what works and I don’t think a normal barber can do it. Wondering if there any good ones in the area that are good at texturing and getting bangs for a guys hair if there at least is any. Any help is appreciated!

Women's Health

Hi all!

My name is Lisa, I'm 28 and from Limerick. I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis in May 2024 and in August I founded Éire Endo Collective.Collective.Colll Collective.Colll

The reason for this was to help women who are dealing with all sorts of gynaecology conditions to feel less alone. It can be very isolating and this page has really given me a purpose. It's been so heartwarming connecting with some amazing, brave women who have offered to share their stories on the page.

The mindset of this is that other women in Ireland who suspect they have a gynae condition may be able to relate to other stories shared on the page. So far we have nearly 800 followers in 4 weeks. My gynaecologist in Limerick also helps me and we have an event planned for October in Limerick.

It would mean so much if you could give the page a follow so we can continue to connect women so nobody deals with this alone. We have already featured in a newspaper and a radio interview to spread the word!

The page is: eire_endo_collective on Instagram and Facebook.

Thank you so so much everyone 🩷

Banned from Limerick City sub

Just got perma banned for making a sarcastic comment. Somebody made a post on the garda helicopter flying around and people were making comments about how they hoped they were rounding up all the knackers, all the people from moyross and things like that. I made a sarcastic comment in response to one of these and got permanently banned. Who does this mod think he is, the stuff he leaves up like, ridiculous
