Hey i just moved here a few weeks ago. What are some good places to meet people. My interests lean towards the nerdy/bookworm side.
Hey folks, I was wondering if anyone on here knew of some good local farmers to get food from - one of the things in particular being eggs, my mom's been asking if I know of anyone local and unfortunately I'm still new enough to Lima that I haven't found out much about the local agriculture. I know the farmer's market restarts next summer, but any suggestions for the meantime?
There have been various rumors of a Target coming to Lima off and on for the last 30 years... Today my brother told me he's heard that Target is the "new anchor store" they're going to demolish the Lazarus building to build.
Anyone wanna take bets?
Is it possible to pay each time you go to Planet Fitness instead of buying a membership?
Any gyms in the area offer more boxing for fitness classes rather than a true boxing gym or boxing technique?
ISO a job that pays at least 15$ if not more. Prefer retail, will consider a factory., Can pass backroad check and drug test. Looking for a job not too psychically damaging.
PSA to Lima and surrounding area’s: The lady that owns this medical spa is currently awaiting trial for a lawsuit brought upon her from a past client. Apparently the owner of Fierce Aesthetics preformed a laser treatment, that she allegedly was not trained on, to one of her client that has resulted in severe recurrence of MRSA infections and scarring. This poor client has not been able to work since this happened in 2022 because of how devastating the infections and scarring has been.
I have also heard that she charges more for treatments for clients that she knows have a higher paying jobs.
She has been open 3 years and has gone through almost 20 employees.
I haven’t heard a single good thing about her or this place since she opened. Steer clear for your own safety.
For legal reasons, this is all hearsay.
I know this is a Lima sub but hoping for some recommendations on some dinner options here. Going to be passing through on way to South Bend. Hoping for non-chain/local option. Any help appreciated.
Does anyone remember/have any pictures of the guy that would dress up as Superman and rode his bicycle around Lima patrolling for bad guys? Then someone had bought him a batman outfit to switch it up? He was such a nice guy if anyone ever talked to him. He really believed he was making a difference fighting crime in Lima. If anyone has any pictures of him it would be appreciated.
Does anyone know of any speakeasies or specifically good bars to go to?
Anyone know why Lima smells so bad rn? Specifically near Elida. It’s like if a skunk crawled into a pile of burnt rice and died.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? It’s in most schools around here, and the state.
I mean is there one? Buehler?
