Hi! My name is Robert. I volunteer at The DC Center for The LGBT Community. We’re doing a clothing drive for LGBTQ+ homelessness. (We’re also doing a canned food drive. The Youth like Mac & cheese and soup. They’re easy to cook.)
Our next volunteer night is Monday December 2nd at 6:30 to 8:30pm.

I know this place has been totally dead for a while, but I'd love to help revive it. Would anyone be interested in a happy hour?
Or is there a different DC Metro area gay reddit?
Hello everyone! This Saturday (The 9th) I am going to have a little gathering at my apartment, then we can walk up to see the pride parade together. I'll make rainbow jello shots, feel free to bring any other food/alcohol you wish to have.
We can meet at my apartment around 1:00pm. We can drink and hang out, then walk up sometime after 3:30 to 21st and P to view the parade, which starts at 4:30. Feel free to invite other people who might be interested! Although it is a small apartment ;)
My apartment is at 21st and E street NW (Potomac Park Apartments), and my phone number is 814-746-9125.
I think it would be a pretty fun thing for us to go together to some of the Pride events next month. Maybe we could pick one or two to set as our "official" meetup?
Alternatively, if there aren't too many people, we could have a lunch/drinking at my apartment and walk up to dupont for the parade!
Here is the calendar for the whole thing:
Hey everyone, now that there are quite a few subscribers why don't we figure out something for us to do? Maybe this weekend we could go to the science expo at the mall, or all go out to a restaurant or bar?
Welcome to r/LGBTDC. No, we didn't invent extra letters, and we certainly don't want to exclude our Queer, Questioning, or Straight Ally friends, or anyone else for that matter. Help us get to know each other by posting a brief introduction in the comments below; include a picture and your name, if you're so inclined!
