Did anyone else get to Giganto Home and think that this might be a good place to max out some additions... And then spend 12 hours here grinding? 😅

Definitely enjoying the unique take on combat, and also the story not pulling any punches. I was so caught off guard by the first change in party make up.

So I downloaded the ps5 version back in 2023. I saved in the evergreen forest and didn't have a clue where I needed to go. Eventually found the home of the winglies. I switched Albert out for Meru, kept in Haschel and I've just finished flanavel tower. Fell in love with the game all over again.

So I understand the mechanics of leveling up my party's D-levels, but there's something that I've never been 100% sure of, and none of the walk throughs I've found have offered clarity.

When you hit the milestone to advance to the next D-level, does the amount of SP you need to gain to level up reset or just get added on?

For example, say I've just hit D-level 4 with Dart, do I need to earn 8000 SP, (the 12000 i needed for lvl 4 plus what I'd need to get to the 20000 of lvl 5) or would I need to gain the full 20000? I've never found an answer to this question, and back when I used to play on my ps1 I never paid enough attention to check on my own.

First time maxing out Lavitz. Jiango will hopefully get me high enough to 1 shot Fruegel. The LC will go to Shana and she will be my paper cannon to blast through as much of the game as possible. Recently lost the save for what would have been my first completion at Death City Mayfil when my mem card got bricked at Soul of Divine Dragon. Hopefully I can speedrun this one without too much fuss while still making most / all characters before TMTNS.

Been playing this game for over 20 years and I still suck at the gust of wind dance 😭. I recently bought the game digitally so I can also play it on the ps5 (my ps1 and 2 are at my moms place so I only got to play whenever I visited her) but I haven't been able to skip the very lengthy intro. Was 2 hours from home today with some friends and passed a hole in the wall used game/ Computer store. Stopped in and saw this, the owner got it out of the case for me to look at. A bit of cracks on the case but it has all 4 disc. My copy at home the case has been all but destroyed from multiple moves and is missing a disc so I happily snagged this for the collection.

Hey fellows, I play legend of the dragoon for the first time, and I have a story related question to all you dragoon-pro's.

I'm at the towers at Vellweb where you can fight the optional Dragoon-Spirits. But there are only 4 towers which have spirits. Now my question is, who is the missing dragoon? 1 Tower should be for Rose, and the other one for Zieg.

But which ancient dragoon is missing and should belong to the 7th tower? Thanks for your answer.

Who is authorized to work on the game? I know a big issue with doing a remake or remaster is I heard they don't fully understand the licensing but how are they getting people to still update the game?

I had a PS1 demo disc with LoD when I was a kid and I remember playing through it several times. I recently found out that the game had been remastered on PS5 and finally gave it a go after all these years.

I'm witnessing this scene for the first time and now I'm sad, Lavitz was a real one.

This question might be a little odd. I’ve been playing this game on my Portal and it’s been awesome. The son is turning 4 soon and my guy has really taken a shine to the game. It’s our ritual every night to play together. And before bed he practices his dragoon powers on me.

Anyway, I think it’d be cool to get him some action figures of the charters but the prices for the 2000s ones are crazy expensive. Like $100+ a pop on eBay. Does anyone know where to find them for less expensive? Or even a 3D printed option someone has out of an Etsy shop that I haven’t seen? I figured if anyone knew, this community might. Thanks all.
