No Quarter live in Providence, Rhode Island on July 21st, 1973. One of the best versions of the song ever. Every bit as good as the version on The Song Remains the Same.

I unironically adore Hot Dog.

Around three or four years ago (when I was first getting into Led Zeppelin) my friend introduced me to Hot Dog. He was a huge Zep fan and so I really got all my knowledge from him for a while. When I actually listened to the song though... man, I loved it! I know that it is incredibly out of character for the band, but it's such fun to listen to. Hot Dog, along with All My Love, are my two favourite songs from In Through The Out Door, and are in my top 15 favourite songs from the band.

Best Version Of Stairway

I've nearly completed my list of personal favorite live songs and I've got them all down except for Stairway To Heaven. Anywho, I am asking for assistance finding the perfect live version of Stairway. With over 250+ live performances of the song, I would like to have it narrowed down to solely one performance. So with that said, which version of Stairway do you prefer?

Suppose you were on a cross-country plane ride, riding first class, and Jimmy Page has the seat next to you and is open to conversation. What would you ask him?

Zep III Pinball

Buddy at work invited me to lunch at a local lounge today. I expected the food to be bad, and it was very bad. But I will return to sink quarters into this 1970 time machine. Because… I am a traveler of both time and space.

We got raided earlier today by some salty banned users: an explanation

If you were on the sub in the last few hours, you likely saw a TON of memes and random posts referencing Hot Dog, pedophilia, the mods, etc. Allow me to provide an explanation:

Two years ago, I banned a user from this sub who was repeatedly spamming "Hot Dog" in all of their comments and posts after multiple warnings to stop. They responded by banding together with a few other users to attempt to raid the sub. We managed to put the kibosh on that by restricting posts based on karma and account age. If, by the way, you're a new user or have low karma and aren't seeing your posts showing up here, this is why. I try to approve them every day when I can, but I'm obviously not perfect so if your post or comment isn't showing up, please let me/the mods know.

Anyways, this banned user has spent the last two years creating alt after alt repeatedly trolling me and the other mods, calling us fat, retarded, pedos, losers, etc. This particular time, they banded together with a couple of users from the circlejerk sub and raided this sub while we were offline.

All of the offending posts have been removed and the offending users banned. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and are taking appropriate measures to ensure this never happens again. It is very sad that a few losers can be this disruptive.

Anyways, if you see any offending comments or posts or see new alts of this user pop up (they typically like to go by "Hot Dog Jimmy" "PedoJimmy" or some other variation), please let us know. We want this to be a healthy and friendly environment to discuss Led Zeppelin without worrying about spam or harassment.

Thank you.

Do artists still record at Headley Grange?

I’ve been interested to know if Headley Grange is still a recording studio since Led Zeppelin made it famous, I also found out that artists like Genesis, Fleetwood Mac, Bad Company, The Pretty Things, Ozark Mountain Daredevils (1973), Ian Dury (1976), Elvis Costello (1976) and Clover (1977/8) has recorded albums there as well. But I haven’t heard any artists using it in recent years it doesn’t seem publicly available like Abby Road or Electric lady studios. So is it closed or has it just stopped being used over time. What happened?

Will there ever be a live album release of anything post HOTH?

I would love a live album release with stuff from Physical Graffiti and beyond (excluding Celebration Day). Will we ever get one?
