After scorching heat and then a week of rain the clouds finally cleared and I got to get out to mow the lawn - 990m2 on Sydney’s Northern Beaches

I just couldn't decide on one tree this year

I like to grow grass gardens, do y'all ever JUST have grass? I prefer how it looks and feels to any other plant. Grass to me is life giving and should be honored and respected. It's not a weed to me. I like holding space for grass because so often people hate on it and treat it like garbage (including littering). Grass produces more oxygen from a single football field size patch of grass than an entire forest of double that size. Grass filters water and air and provides oxygen and minerals to the surrounding areas. 

I grow my grasses in the winter because in North Florida where I live, it's not possible to grow rye grass seed in the summer. 

What kinda of grasses do y'all like?

Hi all, 

Looking for some friendly advice on how to fix patches in my lawn. Am a newbie but do love taking care of my lawn. 

I believe it is buffalo grass, however please correct me if I am wrong. Pics attached.

The front 25sqm is looking fucking sharp. 
Cutting at 18mm atm. Slowly raising it to 25mm for the summer coming here in Australia

My back yard

Started off in late July by scalping the yard and spraying Lesco Prosecutor (figured out afterwards I did this backwards) then two weeks later started tilling the yard with a front tine tiller. Bringing in dirt to level off low spots and fill in beside the driveway/ side walks. Before getting to plant the hurricane came through and created ruts so had to fix that.
Planted with Lesco tall fescue select and fertilizer threw 42 bales of hay and watered daily. After a month of growing did the first cut and this is where we are at today. Definitely have some bare spots I'm going to try to treat in spring but overall l'd consider this a success. Located in Central NC.
