Late Stage Carnism is about exposing the hypocrisy of Carnism in its final years as the dominant ideology. Carnism is defined as the prevailing ideology in which people support the use and consumption of animal products. Carnism is the dominant belief system supported by a variety of defense mechanisms and mostly unchallenged assumptions. Central to carnism is the acceptance of meat-eating as "natural", "normal", "necessary", and (sometimes) "nice".

TRIGGER WARNING / CONTENT WARNING / SFW WARNING.

LateStageCarnism has disturbing content. Please be safe, please be aware of your mental health, and be good to yourself. Compassion fatigue is hard, true, and real.

Individuals who do not label posts as NSFW when their submission is disturbing run the risk of being muted from the subreddit. Please take care of your friends.

This sub is for exposing the hypocricy and idiocy that is Carnism. This is for social media screenshots of carnist saying carnist things, of which there is an endless stream of content widely available as carnism is still the dominant ideology for now.

The desperation in how people try to shame us, is hilarious. Ah yes, the egoism of.. *checks notes* not wanting others to die and talking about that anonymously
