Hi guys
I've been playing this game for a while and never I had this problem. Each time I play it I have to connect an external storage, that contains the game. Today i was going to play and the Rockstar Launcher indicated I had to download the game, as if I didn't have it :)
any idea of what it can be and what could I do?
My computer broke down and I had to format it and my game saves were deleted. I need the game save of the “The Golden Butterfly” case. Can someone who has it send it to me?
No I'm not crying...
After seeing the phenomenal job done by Double Eleven for the PC version of RDR 1, I am hoping we can see LA Noire Remastered on PC as well.
The Remastered releases are similar in that they both came out for PS4/X1/Switch, but for some reason LA Noire Remastered never got a PC port.
I know it's probably not happening, but a man can dream.
Curious to know what everyone else is feeling about this.
During the case "The Golden Butterfly", I reach the purse of the victim. Inside lies their possible name. Gonzalez is going to run the name through to see about it. So far, so good. I investigate the body and talk to What's-His-Name. Instead of coming back and giving context to the name, he stays still, incapable of interaction, and stopping all progress. Help?
I recently just finished replying the game for the first time in a couple of years and I couldn't help but feel like the Homicide Desk feels like it drags on and on compared to the others, especially Vice. Rusty is okay as a partner, I think him being an unhelpful lush who has spent too much time investigating bodies makes him unique but the old guard routine did feel a bit tedious at times and Donnelly is a complete fucking tool but mostly the cases themselves just feel too long. The Red Lipstick one just felt like a slog for example. I dunno, I feel like you could of shaved off one of the Homicide cases and add another to Vice or Arson and the experience on the Homicide Desk wouldn't change but Vice and Arson could get even better.
Hi, i'm gonna play this game in my laptop, but i have a doubt
i must admit that my computer is not the better, it's a Lenovo ThinkPad, with 8 GB RAM, I5 4300u (2.4 Ghz-2Cores and 4 Threads) and an Intel HD 4400
Can anyone tell me if this game is playable in this laptop? I appreciate a lot
pdt: sorry for my bad english, i'm from Costa Rica anyway, thanks ^^
i just started playing the game and im starting to pick up on the gist of it, but im still having trouble reading their face and words/tone. what physical and verbal indications should i be looking for?
I just started up another playthrough of LA Noire, and I forget how good the acting and writing is in this game… but I still can’t help but be frustrated with it. Sometimes the clues are a little more vague and don’t jog my memory, sometimes the clues I think would lead to the right accusation are just wrong, and sometimes it’s bad cop when I think it really should be an accuse. Hell, sometimes the “good cop” feels more like “bad cop” and vice versa. Not to mention the times when I think being hard on the suspect is needed but actually I get the wrong dialogue and fuck up the whole case because of it. And having to restart an entire case or close the game and restart just to get the right dialogue options in an interview isn’t satisfying, and I know it’s an old game and whatnot, but I just wish sometimes certain parts of LA Noire were just tweaked, or maybe even changed.
I’m about to play L.A. Noire for the first time and was wondering which version would be best. I own it on Steam but I don’t want to play a potentially bad port and have the experience ruined for me.
So I've completed the story, found all the secret cars and done my fair share of running around into others cars where I can, but I'm currently only at 61/95 cars. I'm this close to getting the platinum and I can't even remember if I've driven them half the time. Is There any advice from those who've gotten this? I've tried the guides and they seem to suggest it's a bit trial and error nearer the end.
Also I'm playing this on ps3 so I do not have the social club accessible to me.
My favorite scene
In an interview with Eurogamer, writer/creative director Brendan Mcnamara said that there were two additional desks (11 cases) that had been written for and partly designed. Namely burglary and binko (fraud).
Both were cut as a result of storage space and just the sheer scale of games as they were due to the facial technology (on Xbox 360 they took up two discs of space).
Given the choice, which desk would you wish they had kept in the game?
Also worth reading the full article here for those who haven't. Kind of makes me wish they made the game for a later console generation when there were fewer hardware constraints.

very normal very candid not one shred of awkwardness
More never seen beta AI paths, maybe early development part of the map, too detailed for an out of bounds
Only needed $47,000 for the achievement, might've gotten a little carried away trying to make sure I did enough damage.
