Hi everyone! My name is Helena, I'm a PhD student at King's College London seeking participants based across different locations of the UK to take part in my online survey!
This study will investigate the impact of our beliefs about other people on our mental health and wellbeing, and how those beliefs may be impacted by experiences of discrimination. It takes between 10-30 minutes (It is split into three sections so you can choose how much to do based on how much time you have available!).
It is anonymous and confidential, and has been ethically approved by the Health Faculties Research Ethics Subcommittee at KCL (Reference Number: HR/DP-22/23-35614).
Please do share with anyone you think would be interested in taking part!

The Hanging of Stephen Burke: The Last Public Execution at Lancaster Castle
This is quite an interesting story about Stephen Burke, he was the last man to be publicly executed at Lancaster Castle in Lancashire (UK)
Over 7,000 people attended to watch the execution, some of which walked over 25 miles to be there.
Lancaster became known throughout the country as 'The Hanging Town' for the number of executions carried out there, in total there were 213 executions in total at Lancaster Castle up until the last one in 1865.
The full story is in the link above, I thought some of you may enjoy this one.
Thanks
Mark

Hi guys,
For anybody that may be looking to get into Coding/Software Development who is based in Lancashire, we have secured funding from the GMCA to deliver our 12-week boot camp for free for residents of Lancashire. This is virtual and is starting 31st of May 2021.
This course teaches JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Vue.js, Node.js, MongoDB, SQL, Swift amongst other things.
Apologies if this is not allowed on the sub... I just thought it may be able to help somebody out - this is a FREE course and we are just trying to raise awareness!!!
Please drop me a PM if you are based in Lancashire and have an interest in Coding.
