General discussion and/or review of real estate in the LA county. Post real estate listings here and have people review and discuss with you about it. Too often sites like Redfin has biased reviews, now you can get reviews from your fellow peers.
General discussion and/or review of real estate in the LA county. We want people to discuss and review certain listings that they just went to or an open house they just went to. If you are a neighbor or familiar with aspects of that listing, give your 2 cents as well. I created this subreddit because sites like Redfin has reviews, but they are from bias agents. While this subreddit will not actively try to filter out agent reviews here, this will allow those of us who are looking at housing to give our two cents of the place to help others.
Rules:
Only post listings and your opinions of that listing in it. This is not a place to discuss general real estate around Los Angeles.
Limit the listings to Los Angeles County, not necessarily the city. It's okay to see something from Arcadia, but not San Diego
Comments should be helpful and related to the real estate at hand
I can ban you for other reasons as well such as advertising, brigading, etc. I just don't want to list everything out. But don't worry, I'm not power hungry and I prefer not to ban people.

Are you a young professional guy who has it all - Great career, great social circle... but your place still looks like a frat house? Check out our casting page for details on how to apply to be on the show! If you or anyone you know is interested, here is a link to our casting page.
Hi I run a marketing company that produces professional videos and I am trying to build my real estate portfolio, specifically $1m+ SFH in the LA area (I'm located in Hollywood so prefer to be within 30 minutes for this freebie project). Looking for an agent who is willing to be on camera to tour a property or narrate it. I want to create two different videos. One targeted for social media to help build the agents online presence locally and another for MLS safe content for Zillow, Realtor, etc. Must have homeowners permission to shoot (don't want you to get in trouble). Drone camera may be involved depending on the dates scheduled. If you and the homeowner approve of the videos, you can use it however you want to sell the property. Please DM me if interested, thank you.
Quick facts:
Hey LA city redditors! I’m co-founding a PropTech startup called Newalty.
We have big data capabilities and are able to understand all sorts of dynamics within the LA city housing market.
We ran a brainstorming and prototypes for some concepts on how to make it possible for first-time-buyers to avoid getting outcompeted when going to market for a home.
But before jumping into action with our own ideas, I wanted to ask for yours:
What do you think we should know?
What would you expect from a solution like this in LA city?
Which neighborhoods would you love to target for your primary living house?
We aim for a better market for us all, and we will use all of our capabilities to make it possible. I would love to hear your thoughts, and would be happy to offer free beta testing to the most engaged contributors once we launch.
Feel free to ask me anything.

First time EVER on the market!
Just blocks from NoHo West, no Showings until Sunday open house...First time ever on the market for this highly upgraded home in the West NoHo area of North Hollywood. The property has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. There is a new kitchen and a wonderful family room with a cozy fireplace. The home features beautiful wood flooring throughout the entire home. The kitchen features a coffee bar, quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, white Shaker cabinetry, subway tile backsplash and a plethora of recessed lighting throughout the home. There are also two key elements to the home that make this property so special: (1) There is a basement that has between 400-500 square feet of space for just about any purpose...a wine cellar, extra storage area or just anything your imagination can create; (2) The detached two-car garage is nearly finished for a possible ADU. It already has insulated walls and ceiling, 100-amp sub-panel, sewer connection, water hookup and even an additional added small bedroom attached to rear of the garage. As we transition back to the main home, we discover newer dual pane windows, newer paint inside and out, newer roof, copper re-pipe, two solar attic exhaust fans. Just about every little detail possible has been incorporated into this fabulous home such as pull-out shelving in the hallway closet. The entire home is adorned with crown moldings and exquisite door and window framings. Easy freeway access and close to shopping in the NoHo area.

I've always kinda like condos from Savoy, they seem kinda cool. Was a bit out of my price range though. Great location in Little Tokyo and they will have the regional connector soon so that will be great as you can travel to other parts of DTLA and KTown a lot easilier. Kinda wish they had pictures though. Pretty concerned that they don't. Probably means the interior unit is actually shit. It has only been on Redfin for 3 days so I would definitely look out for an open house to check it out.

And how it’s ruining all the apartments in LA? Why must 95% of renovations install this crap? It’s terrible terrible terrible terrible. Apartment hunting has become a nightmare. I would rather have a warped wooden floor with rusty nails sticking out of it or wall to wall carpeting instead of fake plastic wood. It’s a scourge.
Any solutions out there, folks?
