As the title says. I am looking for a complete L5R LCG collection in English. Preferably from Europe. I don't really care about special promo cards as long as no card is missing, however they would be a nice extra. Would love to get your offer via DM. The cards are expected to be of minimal use.
The Boar Reborn is a Legend of the Five Rings 4th Edition RPG campaign chronicling the tale of the return of the Boar Clan, a lost minor clan that has recently been reformed.
In episode 17, the characters begin their journey across the Shinomen Mori, a large and dense forest, heading towards the lands of the Fox Clan. Early in their passage they find a strange, mysterious site and investigate, encountering something very old.
Episode 17 can be found here: https://youtu.be/svJWBMYlpqo
there are actually 4 games this list works with: Age of Fantasy, Age of Fantasy Quest, Age of Fantasy Skirmish, and Age of Fantasy Regiments
I just stuck everything on one big list with faction affiliations as upgrades.
Also note I'm not allowed to put copyrighted material in this so things have "generic" names
Anyone selling their 4e books? Looking for StrongHolds of the Empire, Unexpected Allies 2, Imperial Archives.
The Boar Reborn is a Legend of the Five Rings 4th Edition RPG campaign chronicling the tale of the return of the Boar Clan, a lost minor clan that has recently been reformed.
In episode 16 (which was short due to some technical issues causing a late start), the characters continue to discuss the conspiracy that is starting to emerge. A conspiracy that seems to hinge around them and their location.

Hi there,
I am looking for Clan War miniatures for sale outside of eBay and Nobel Knight Games's website. If anybody has anything lying around or knows of a shop that miraculously still has some, please do let me know.
I remember an asahina yajinden card in the crane clan, does it actually exist or am I imagining it?
Mainly looking for The Emperor's Legion and Defenders of Rokugan packs. Or does anyone know how to find these? I've tried looking everywhere online, but have had no luck.
Is there any list of daimyo (clan, family, province) and champions of each clan for particular eras?
I have a complete run of the L5R LCG Version that I don't know what to do with. I haven't played it since it died, and my play group has dried up. Is there any interest in it if I try to move it?
Edit:
Providing an eBay link. I'm located in the USA. I don't know how to price it, so I just threw up some numbers to see if it'll stick.
I own most of the physical books but will be playing an online game here next year, and am looking for any online resources or tools to help run the game.
Additionally are there any prewritten adventures that are good starting points for a GM experienced in other games but not l5r, especially in this same edition. (4e)
Thank you in advance.
Those 3 clans got absorbed into the Mantis clan. Buy what happened with their lands? Does Mantis control the islands AND lands of its member clans?
Edition:4e
Time Zone: Mostly EST
Day of week and time: Ongoing
Planned Duration & Frequency: This will be a living server so hop on and RP whenever you wish.
Long/short Term: Long term game probably 1.5 years+
Text or Voice: Text
Roleplay & Combat mix: This will be more RP-heavy but there is also a good amount of combat plotlines planned. There are GM-led scenes for combat and non-combat scenarios, spanning a broad range of topics.
Number of Players in game & needed: we currently have about 35 people but are looking for more.
Character starting XP: 168
Character restrictions: be a human for winter court, afterward Nezumi will be an option
Details of your scenario:
The game takes place 15 years after the clan wars and nothing bad has happened. A period of peace has settled over Toturi’s reign. You are part of the next generation of samurai to be raised in a post clan wars world under the Son of Heaven Toturi, and you get to the Topaz Championship. After you partake in the Topaz Championship the Storyline of ToR3 will be based in Otosan Uchi.
The goal of ToR3 is to focus more on the Big Hero/Shonen side of L5R. The goal is for players to earn those big imperial titles. At first we will focus on one district of Otosan Uchi, but the plots wills extend beyond the walls of the imperial city. You should be able to play nearly every school, path, and clan including Boar and Snake if you wish.
Things like the Hidden Emperor Storyline never happened. Shenanigans with Hitomi never happened. We are tweaking the storylines from old AEG L5R to make peace happen from the end of clan wars till when the game starts. Like with Hitomi she ends up getting killed by Fu Leng during the 2nd day of thunder and Togashi Hoshi will honor her sacrifice by giving some of her followers the family name of Hitomi thus allowing that family name and school to be accessible to players. If you want to explore some weird concept or have something that needs an event to happen in that 15 year time span we are very open.

Hi! TIL: L5R 4th edition is not set in any specific period, it's supposed to give you tools for playing any of them. Well, just imagine how happy I am with that, without any experience with earlier editions (it's an irony, of course).
Somebody told me that I should look for the Imperial Histories and Imperial Histories 2 books and choose one of the eras from there. It looks like a good idea, but I'm not sure which of them are historical/canonical with 4e. Could you correct me?

Hey folks! Thinking about L5R this week, and revising my Great L5R Campaign documents based on The Great Pendragon Campaign.
I was wondering what the Subreddit thought about reducing the scale of HoGS to an /10 system instead of /100.
As it stands right now, I can’t think of anything it would majorly break. It WOULD mean that minor infractions would be less impactful, as I wouldn’t want to drop someone a whole tenth of their honor without it being sufficiently impactful, but, on the flip side, I think that might also be better? Rokugan is a setting that pays attention to the little stuff, certainly, but I feel like larger HoGS loss at more narratively significant moments feels like it would flow better in play.
The other element it could interfere off the top of my head is Status, and making certain “who is the boss” situations less clear with relative peers. On one hand, I think that could make for interesting rivalries, and on another, I can see that lack of clarity also being frustrating in play.

How do I determine what diffiulty value to assign to different objectives? On page 253, it talks about what momentum is, but not who to guage objectives or goals for scenes.
Hey Samurai, I have a few questions about Combat, specifically in regards to fatigue and defending. I am a fairly experienced GM though not very familiar with this system.
Please imagine a situation where a PC has 10 Endurance and 8 Fatigue. He is targetted by an attack that would deal 6 Damage (including the bonus successes from the attack roll.) He is wearing armor that provides 2 Resistance to the attack. He takes 4 Fatigue from the attack and now has 12 Fatigue, 2 more than his Endurance. The attack causes him to become Incapacitated.
Does he take a Critical Strike at this moment or only as a result of subsequent attacks?
On a future turn, the PC suffers a Critical Strike and becomes Unconscious. The NPC is truly masochistic and attacks the Unconscious PC. The PC elects to use a void point to wake his character before the attack lands.
Does the PC successfully defend against the damage (as suggested in the description of Unconscious) or, because he still has Fatigue in excess of his Endurance and is thus Incapacitated, is he unable to defend against the damage? (He would still avoid the additional deadliness that an Unconscious character would suffer.)
Are there any options that would allow an Incapacitated PC to roll dice or otherwise temporarily ignore the Incapacitated condition? (Other than a special technique or simple bed rest.) The players seem convinced that spending a Void point would allow that, though I haven't been able to find that rule (though I don't think I have an issue with it as a house rule.)
Finally, and unrelated to the examples above, one of my players jumped into a whirlpool (after being told that it was very likely to kill him) and we had to look up the drowning/suffocating rules. I see that suffocating causes 2 Fatigue and 2 Strife each round and if they are Unconscious, they must pass a Fitness test or expire. Suffocating doesn't cause critical strikes, so what rule would cause the PC to become Unconscious? Without something to apply the Unconscious condition, it seems like a PC can stay underwater indefinitely, which can't be correct.

I know there are differences between L5R editions, but now I'm really confused. Ok the map from the core book, the river runs next to the Kaiu Wall, being effectively a moat. But on the map from The Atlas of Rokugan it's not.
And in the core book there is written about some lands inside the Wall controlled by Hiruma, but the map show them as Hida's.
It's pretty important for me rn, as I run a game for 2 Hiruma players
"(...) makes an Iaijutsu / Refl exes attack roll against his opponent’s normal Armor TN."
Does it mean there is no Reflexes bonus for TN in a iaijutsu duel, just the bonus from worn armor?
How popular are iaijutsu duels in armor anyway? I thought they are fought without armor, just my, you, and out katanas
Hi! I got 4 different hidden emperor starter decks for the L5R CCG. Were the decks not fully preconstructed back then? It felt a bit random and all over the place with the amount of singles, the amount of shadowlands, nagas, and ratling cards, the large amount of kihos for so few monks and shugenjas, and lack of clan cards in the decks. Or was it common that decks were structured this way?
