It used to just be that you couldn't search for the word 'kratom' on facebook, but at least the American Kratom Association page was still accessible. But now it looks like Facebook finally canned that, too. It was where I'd look to know what was going on in various states. If according to a COA the kratom I have is 1.42% Mitragynine, the extract is 21.6%. What is the equivalent dose here?

For context, I usually take 20gpd of regular powder. I’m having a health issue that makes me really need to be careful of heavy metals, I am currently tapering the regular powder kratom to take a break. I’m considering replacing it with extract powder so I can avoid some of the heavy metals in the regular plant material (I know please spare me the lectures about extract, I’m aware. I’m trying to figure out my exact daily dose so I don’t accidentally increase my tolerance during a taper.)

I am lost trying to figure this out. Math was not my best subject in high school lol. Any help appreciated.

I seem to be sensitive to any opiate type medication and have been able to sustain low doses without much tolerance build up. About a decade ago I was able to use 2.5mg doses of Percocet 1-2x a day for about a year without diminishing effects.

I’ve been able to achieve satisfactory results in mood and overall well-being with 500mg of Kratom 2x a day. I’ve read that tolerance to kratom builds very quickly so my question is, has anyone had success with staying at a low dose like this? How are withdrawals from these lower doses?

It’s my fault for not taking off days I guess, but I took about 9 grams for 3.5 months, and just like every time I’ve taken kratom I stop being able to feel it by the 4th month. I guess my receptors have just had enough. I’m tapering off right now and it’s super easy, I’m just going down .5 grams a day and haven’t had any issues at all, I feel great, but, the thing is, I don’t wanna come off kratom… do I have a choice? Am I going to have to come off to be able to feel it again? And if so, how long of being off kratom till my receptors reset? I really miss it lol

So this whole week and last week I’ve tapered off fentanyl powder.. I’d go 24hrs without, then do a little one night, 24 without, then a little at night. Did that for about a week. Now it’s been Wednesday since my last nightly use (so it’s been about 3 whole solid days without anything) physically I’m doing way better than I thought I’d be. I’m still a little anxious tho. I still don’t have energy. Mentally I’m struggling too… would Kratom at this degree in make a difference for relaxing and calming down/ feeling normal? Would it help me sleep? Thank you.

I posted recently and learned that extracts are not the way to go. Yesterday I was prescribed an SSRI and don’t want to be a victim of serotonin syndrome but can’t really let go of the Kratom yet. I know I cannot ask for medical advice. I’m asking for personal experiences/opinions.

So I started a project that was all manual work and since I have nerve damage it left me in pain and I had used oxy the past week or so and it felt great, I started taking kratom just to get me through the project since it did help with pain. I was taking around 3-4 500mg capsules. I tried oxy again and it just doesn’t work. I’ve taken 30mg, with grapefruit juice and Neurontin and I didn’t feel a thing, and that was 2 months of no use of kratom or oxy.

Its very hard to find info about kratom and type 1 diabetes. But I have been diabetic for 30 years...and taking kratom over the past few years, my a1c is the lowest it has ever been...I take about half my normal dosage of insulin...and just all around it is more level.

I took a week off kratom this past week, just to detox a lil bit...and my blood sugars were out of this world, up and down...and I was taking double the amount of insulin I usually take...

It seems to make me much more insulin sensitive...Which I love...But also just not the extreme lows and extreme highs that make anyone feel sick.

I finished an entire box of cheeze its less than a day and I know I could eat more rn but I'm not going to lol. It makes food taste so good just like weed does to you when you smoke or eat an edible and as someone who was having appetite problems here recently, it helps me not feel nauseous when I eat now which is a huge benefit

So I start nursing school in January but to start I have to pass a 10 panel drug test with tox screen, and I've used kratom for years, I was told that kratom is included on the 10 panel tests and will show on any test I take as a nurse, is this true? Are there any other nurses out there that benefit from kratom and use it while also being in the field? Will I be okay to use it after the initial drug tests to enter school? Thanks!

Hello, I am new to kratom and have not tried it yet but I have a drink in my fridge I’ve been saving for high pain day for my fibromyalgia. However I just went and got my first IUD today and suddenly the cramps have gotten so intense. I’ve already taken 800mg of Advil and 2 extra strength Tylenol but idk if it’s gonna cut it. Idk if it’s safe to take kratom after all these pain killers. Can anyone please give me advice thanks.

Just looking for info. I’ve heard some people say that it reduces blood sugar, but I don’t really understand what the mechanism of action is for this, and how it might affect someone who isn’t trying to lower their blood sugar. Can Kratom cause hypoglycemia? I would appreciate any info 🙏

I’m desperately trying to come off a stimulant as well as an opiate RC. The black pill pack that is highly popular (I don’t believe I can name companies) works for me for about 4 hours then I’m back to misery. Does anyone have any advice? Should I dose a second extract pill? Should I get some standard Kratom and use it to maybe boost it after the 4 hours? So many questions. Hopefully you guys can help me find some clarity in what I should do.

But anyway does anyone have insight or theories on how rfk jr dismantling the FDA , which he says he wants to do ... Would effect the legality of Kratom? The FDA been coming pretty hard for it. Are conservatives more laissez faire when it comes to stuff like this? Should we be worried?

I legit don’t do anything. In fact yesterday was my 1 year alcohol sober birthday. No weed no nothing. A few months ago I started drinking Kratom with Kava shots and now I have this. My only 2 meds I take are bupropion and trazodone which in my research can pop for amphetamines or methamphetamines. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Would my DOT doctor just send this in for further analysis to determine it was indeed not heroin or oxy? Or would it just be off with my head?

The white kratom is too strong for me. Makes me jittery and I don’t like it. So I quit buying it and just buy red and green strains now. But I was thinking, I wonder if I could just buy white kratom and reduce the amount I use and get the same effects I get from the green. Like right now I take 4-5 grams per dose of the green. I wonder if I cut to 2-3 grams of the white if I would get the same effect? The white doesn’t cost any more so I would be saving money. Anyone have any thoughts on it?

Hey folks, curious to ask, I read the abstract of a study that was looking at, it was a specific form of electrolysis, but being used to oxidize Mitragynine into 7-HydroxyMitragynine, and that into Mitragynine Pseudoindoxyl.

Anyone else hear/read anything about this and have any more info or ideas about this process?

It was some form of electrolysis to create plasma, which then a liquid solution of Kratom leaf was run through the system passing the plasma I belive? There were diagrams of the systems they used to perform this, and it definitely seemed a little too complex for your average at home enthusiast, just thought it interesting and wondered if anyone else has been seeing this, and if they have any interesting ideas or input on the matter.

I added up my daily dosage (~45g daily) and I’m concerned that I’m taking too much. Not only is it expensive, but I really want to try and get off this stuff. I’ve been using Kratom for around 4-5 years. Any advice would be great and I appreciate all of you!

Last night I did 5g of Red Maeng Da kratom and experienced some mild muscle soreness in both my arms on the come up. This progressively got worse until my arms felt extremely sore and stiff. I also experienced twitching and some mild myoclonic jerks but that doesn’t worry mean to much because it happens everytime i dose when coming down off my adderall. Now thats it the next day my arms are super sore and in pain it feels like right after you get a flu shot. Does anyone have any experience with this? The kratom is high quality lab tested and from a popular reputable brand.
