I found a BTS Butter signed album on bunjang.
They are now doing a promotion so it's about $400
Do u think its worth it?? Any comment will be appreciated!!
I swear i keep seeing that NMIXX, TWICE, Blackpink, Stray Kids, IVE, TWS, TXT, SVT, &Team, NCT and Riize (Seunghan) get dragged into the HYBE controversy? At this point every group is going to get dragged into it.
Can someone explain how they got dragged into this...? It feels so sudden but so many groups have been dragged into this (I already know about aespa, Le Sserafim, Illit, New Jeans and BTS Jungkook's involvement but how did so many JYP and YG groups get into it).
I REALLY love spider and I'm looking for songs that fit the same vibe
Sooo I'm still in the steps where im trying to just not be embarrassed of liking kpop in fear of being made fun of. so far my dad knows and he even bought me tickets to go see seventeen but so far only he and some of my friends know but I'm kinda like scared for what my other family will think 😭 like I don't want them to make fun of me or think certain things of me. Sometimes I attend in person kpop events like photocard trading events and I feel like really out of place or people judge me because I don't really look like the type to like kpop Iykwim 😭 or maybe all of this is just me being a really awkward person in general 😭
I was looking through Taeyeons discography and saw that Lucas was on ‘All Night Long’ on her Something New album (I’ve had the physical album since 2019, I just never paid attention to the titles), and I was wondering what the reception at the time was?
Since Lucas joined NCT in March 14,2018 and the album released in June 18, I can only assume this was their first introduction to Lucas as a solo act at the time. With such a powerhouse vocalist and a rookie on the same track, what was the reaction of Korean fans and international fans at the time? Was SM slammed for putting them on the same track since he had no forefront record of abilities aside from Empathy?
So I got the Neverland ticket for Gidle Melbourne show which gets special lanyard/ticket and sound check. I assume we get the ticket onsite? Because I haven't got anything in the mail. Also how do we find out about the details for sound check?
I know it's very specific to Australia concert but maybe it's the same in other countries.
i don't have time to go through all that on twitter rn, and i really want to know about all that sht with hybe and the groups PLEASE
Hello! I used to be really into kpop but it’s been a few years, I work at a non profit thrift and someone donated a bunch of albums. I was tasked w pricing them and I’m trying to figure out decent pricing for them. Say an album is selling new for 40$, if it doesn’t have the photo cards + poster I’m pricing them for 10$, then the set of 3 versions as 40$, if the individual album does have all of the stuff I’m pricing for 20$. Is this reasonable? I was never really a collector but clearly the person who donated was, and I want to price em cheaper than retail but still for the price they’re worth. Any comments help! I’ve priced about 15 albums and still have a whole box to go through
Hi everyone!
I will be attending Kiss Of Life's concert in November and got the VIP tickets. I was wondering around what time will soundcheck take place? Also, is the group photo before or after the concert?
Thanks in advance!
i hope it’s okay to post this in here.. i have a few albums i was going to sell soon but i didn’t know how to go about doing it. would people be more up to buying them if they were sealed or should i open them and show which inclusions/photocards are in the album? i know me personally i would rather buy a sealed album but then again ik some people would prefer to know what they get. what are your opinions on it?
edit: i am not trying to sell my albums on here or promote btw ! i was just wanting some advice because i don’t have experience selling albums
Hi I pre ordered an album on Makestar and its my first time ordering from them, I usually order from weverse but the GGUM album was sold out on weverse already. So I got the confirmation already from makestar about my preorder but on the bottom it says, "we sincerely appreciate your participation for (insert album)'s pre order event" and when I click on the site, it takes me to my participation history but when I click on my order history, it's empty. I did order an album, but I am just so confuse because the words they use make it seem like I am only participating in this pre order event.
What kpop song can I sing for my Talent Show? Just to let you know I don't speak Korean so it would be easy for me to learn if it only had a little bit of korean or english versions of kpop songs. I prefer mostly 4th gen to 5th gen. So pls help me out. Both bgs and ggs fine. Thank You!
Is there a good source to find templates of photocards? Either by group, member, or album? I'm personally looking for BG ones but it would be a good resource to have a list of all the good sites. I know Twitter has accounts that post them but are there any sites? Or good Twitter accounts to follow? Thanks!
Im new at the community and I was trynna find some groups to start with.
I've enjoyed a lot (G)I-DLE and Xdinary Heroes. do they (or their fandom) have any bad reputation? have they ever been involved in controversies?
I've noticed that (G)I-DLE seems to be pretty huge (at least at spotify), even though I havent heard of them before, thats why I got a bit suspicious lol
So from my understanding, ticketing in Japan are based on a raffle system and after applying, I didn't win any tickets :( Does anyone know how else I could get the MAMA Award Show tickets (specifically for day 2) otherwise? This will be my first time going to an award show, and to Japan, so I'm unfamiliar with resellers or how these things work.
Any help would be appreciated!!!
Does anyone know legit places that sell kpop albums whose shipping isn’t incredibly expensive? I’ve tried Walmart and Target but I can’t buy from the US website since I’m not from the US. Thanks in advance.
Okay, not really, but I still need the scoop.
I was a biggggg time K-pop fan from like 2010 to 2015. Grew up with the second generation groups (my absolute favorites are Girls' Generation, BIGBANG, 2NE1, and Apink-- still listen to their music and other second gen groups regularly), but I stopped keeping up as much from like 2015 on. I've always been intimidated to dive back into the K-pop world because I know how quickly the landscape changes. Seems like there are so many new groups and it's been extremely difficult for me to keep up. I was there to see the beginnings of what I assume are some of the most popular groups today (BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE, Red Velvet), but I'm completely unfamiliar with the fourth generation unfortunately.
During the time I stopped following, I'd say the landscape was still SNSD being the most popular girl group, EXO gaining immense popularity from Growl, Overdose, and Call Me Baby (prob #1 hottest boy group at the time, right before the ascension of BTS with I Need U and Dope), and exciting debuts from new groups like Red Velvet, iKON, Seventeen, TWICE, and NCT who were ushering in the third generation.
What's happened over the past ten years? Who would y'all say are your favorite groups of today, and what songs/performances should I check out (I was always huge on live performances, thought they were what made K-pop so amazing... are shows like KBS Music Bank and M Countdown still even a thing?) Is the SM/YG/JYP monopoly still the same? Any real historic moments that I should be aware of?
I'd also love to answer any questions about K-pop during the era I followed, if you guys have any.
Mark is a major reason why I'm a huge fan of NCT i fell in love with him when I heard his rap in Cherry Bomb, what does reddit think of him as an idol etc.? Yea or Nay?
Hello there, I want to make a playlist for Halloween/October spooky season. As the title says, please help me find some spooky songs. (P.S. This is my first time making a post here on Reddit.) Since I mainly use Apple Music, I will create this playlist on Apple Music.
(This is a repost because I posted it on the wrong Reddit account, and it got blocked. So, here we go again.)
Do any other groups have something like rise of bangtan ??? I've been looking but haven't found any. pleas recommend if anyone knows any.
Ok this is super random, but how do y’all mentally deal with seeing other carats (or any other kpop group in general) get interactions with SVT/ FOMO in general. I know I can’t really complain bc I’m SO SO grateful I even got to see them in concert, but there’s this dumb nagging feeling. Idk if this is too dramatic or silly for this subreddit but I just wanted go throw it out there and ask other kpop fans/ carats especially bc SVT has a history of doing a lot of fan interactions at concerts! Sorry if this is a bit of a goofy question and I’m sorry if it comes off as ungrateful, but I’m truly just curious!
So I had my first fancall with my favorite group a couple days ago and I had met them prior to calling them but this call was important to me as most members remembered me. The only thing is that the audio on their end didn't record so my screen recording makes it look like I'm talking to myself. My friend has had fancalls before and her screen recording recorded their voices too so I don't know why it didn't record on mine. Is there a way to retrieve the audio at all? This call meant so much to me and I feel like I'll never get those memories back, the memories of hearing them remember me 🥹 I hope there's a way to retrieve the audio. Thank you
I've always been obsessed with the synths, strings, and everything in this song it's so euphoric. I haven't found one similar yet so please help me out if you know some bangers. Kpop or not, I want to hear it all!
Taste by Red Velvet is the closest song I've found to share the same style and genre. I'm surprised it took so long to click because it's by my favorite group. Kpop or not, I want to hear all the suggestions!
Sooo I got back into kpop summer 2023 and ohhh boy have I spent lots of money ✋😭 I have dug myself into a rabbit hole if anyone knows any tips on budgeting with kpop please let me know because as soon as I have lots of money it disappears the same day 😭😭 I should start hiding money from myself.
I'm trying to make a playlist with a certain type of vibe kinda like Chloe Bailey or Tinashe. A kpop example is like Up by Karina. I'll link the playlist so you get a better understanding of what I mean.
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0JokBCsyOxU81AApBbTEus?si=fRN58uSxRJOx3q64bImd3w&pi=u-19qK8VlTR1mt
Thank you guys in advance!
i understand why they didn't last year and and year before that, but when do you expect we will see them dress up again?
Hey!!
I want to preorder ateez's golden hour: part. 2 and because I'm currently studying in Korea, I wanted to order it from one of the shops KQ linked in their official announcement. I don't have any experience ordering from any of those shops, so I don't know how it usually works with inclusions/special gifts. So far, I have always ordered from shops in my home country which told you exactly what kind of POBs would be included and they would have the sets as their own option. Normally I don't buy sets because I don't like having multiple of essentially the same album (only the photos would be different but not the songs, if you know what I mean and also I hate the whole overconsumption thing). This time, I'm going with the set though since I want to gift my friend an album for her birthday (because she never buys albums usually) and so I'm okay with buying three and potentially giving the third album to another friend (or keeping it for myself) since they are much cheaper to buy here.
I have now decided I want to go with Soundwave since their POB seems to be an eye-smile photocard which I'm really excited about. But for some reason, Soundwave doesn't have a separate option to purchase the set like some other shops do. So now I'm wondering what I have to do if I want to order the set. Do I just order three of the individual albums, which are random so I can't choose the versions anyways? Will they then give me all three versions plus the POB that's specific for the set? Or could I possibly get duplicates? I honestly wouldn't mind getting the same version twice because I'm giving at least one of them away anyways but I'm just curious how I can get all three.
The website is only available in Korean and my mediocre Korean skills plus Google translate aren't helping my confusion. In the info section on the purchase page, it does say what the POB for a set is but at this point, I'm not sure anymore. I do think there's an additional POB for those who buy the set which is the only reason I want to make sure I buy the set and not just three separate albums.
Hope this makes sense. I would be really grateful if someone could help out, so I actually know what I'm ordering.
ok so im into kpop like 4 years ago and i know a group called iz*one disband and more people continue to talk about this group but i dont know why they disband, can someone tell me why?
