Will be travelling solo to Kolkata and Darjeeling in the last week of November. I have budgeted 3 days for the former and 2.5 days for the latter.

Intending to visit Kalimpong as well from Darjeeling.

Just wanted the following info from those who've been there:

1. Are shared taxis available to Kalimpong from Darjeeling? If yes, what's the tariff per head and the frequency of these taxis? What is the travel time

2. Do these taxis have a round trip, meaning - Can I depend on these to cover Kalimpong in a single day?

3. I also plan to catch my flight to Bangalore from Bagdogra. What would be the one way fare and travel time from Darjeeling/Kalimpong?

4. Lastly, suggest some worthwhile places to cover in Kalimpong! I have googled them, yet would like to take some guidance from experienced travellers!

Hello everyone. I’m thinking about selling photos that I have taken, as prints but have absolutely no idea where to start, so I’d love any advice you could share.

Since I’m completely new to this, I’d like to keep the sale confined to Kolkata as of now, to lower the shipping costs, atleast until this thing kicks off.

I'd be grateful if any of y'all could advice on I can set up the whole process, like where to print the photos, and where to start, as I'm entirely lost.

As a beginner, I'd like to start out entirely online. I’d appreciate any tips on where to get started, platforms I should consider, and any advice on setting an appropriate price for prints. Marketing is also a big unknown for me, so I’d be grateful for guidance on how to get my work out there effectively.

Just a basic rant and observation that i had last night. Why kali pujo got that flair to it the excitement and conclusion to the long run festivity post pujos, which significantly, didnt have that feel to it. The RG Kar incident did leave a traumatic and haunting impression among the masses, which made us question is it morally right to involve one self to the festivity, we were in denial, confused, pressed even. After durga pujo, the masses still got a clear conjuncture, the durga pujo was a lessom and this kali pujo, it felt more of a pujo, the essence of durga pujos were still there.

(i understand if it doesnt make sense, hell even i dont know if it makes sense or not, just wanted to know if u got the same feeling too)
