Hi! I am an Experience Researcher looking into people's interest in the protection and conservation of the Australia's land, freshwater and ocean ecosystems. I'd love to get your thoughts on the topic. The purpose of the research is to discover how we might meet the goal of protecting 30% of Australia's nature by 2030. How did koalas originally develop their immunity to eucalypt toxins if they only gain their immunity from eating their mother’s feces?
I’m not sure this is the right place to ask, but if they’re born without it and only develop it through eating their mother’s feces and not something purely biological like puberty, then what started this chain of enzyme/gut bacteria possession that allows them to eat exclusively eucalyptus?

New koala lover with post removed and was not notified as to the reason of it.
I don't understand why a post of mine in here got removed without me being notified as to the reason it was removed. My post had to do with koalas and I wasn't selling anything nor was I running a fundraiser for anything.
