My current Sunday night spot used to have live jazz, great conversation, and a spectacular vibe that truly felt like everything right about Knoxville. Now, it has cornhole tournaments and football on a big screen. If I wanted to go to Yee-Haw, I would have, but this place always felt special. Is there anywhere else people can go on a Sunday night to just enjoy some good beer and each others company?
Which gig app is the best for the Knoxville area? Like for bartenders and events? I have already worked for Tend but they don’t have too many jobs around Knox
Can anyone recommend a Brewery that is open at 2 PM, allows dogs inside, and is quiet for working?
Today is the last day of early* voting. Local elections make local impact! Election Day is Thursday August 4th. 18-30 is by far the least represented age group in local elections. Let’s change that! Your vote matters.
I am thinking about a couple of day road trip to Knoxville to visit breweries. Last time I was in town during the week, ride share options were pretty limited. So my questions:
- The area in the pic seems to be the where there are more breweries in a given area. Is that whole area walkable both from a distance and safety standpoint?
- If I stayed in the 500 block of South Gay Street, is that also walkable to the brewery area I mentioned?
Thanks for any help. If you are a regular at any of these breweries, additional info would be appreciated too. Thanks

Hi, Knoxville! What would you say are the very best craft breweries in your area, and why?
Who around town has the best deal on growler fills/refills??
Whether it’s just your default place, or the place you think of first when a friend comes in from out of town. What’s your spot?
Mine is Orange Hat.
Anything special going on? Visiting from Atlanta?
Hello! I'm flying to your lovely city today from Denver and I have my small dog with me. Are there any dog friendly tap rooms we could go to?
I'm most excited about Elst, Bearded Iris, Pink Boots, and any one off casks that usually happen.
I came across this survey for Idaho State University trying to understand craft beer markets across the country. I thought Knoxville might like to help!
$16.99 for a sixer
I'm wanting to try some west coast stuff (Lost Coast) and see if Wolf Hills brings anything new. They are also tapping a keg of Founder's KBS!
For those of you that are into sour beer, what's the best thing you've picked up in a store and which one? Thanks!
